Re: Anyone thought of this yet?
I plan to bury a Typhus deep in a pit of 20 Zombies. What's better then a Fearless, Feel No Pain unit? A Fearless, Feel No pain unit that can act as a Look Out, Sir! fodder.

You'd be legally obligated to play Michael Jackson's Thriller for the extent of the game.BewareOfTom wrote:I'd rather bring typhus and make some/most/all of them zombies

70 Zombies...for 300 points?michael01120 wrote: the zombies are a mazing tarpit unit. 35 for 150 pts (with fearless and feel no pain) that will be hard to move in a hurry ( but then again they can't capture objectives so why sit with them)

Painting "Slimy" Armor
Well, the buzz leaking about the new Chaos Codex means I'll likely be scratching a Nurgle itch (and yes, the itch is infected. This is Nurgle...) and picking up a Typhus to lead a Cultist Heavy Zombie army. I have an idea on how I want Typhus and his troops to look, but I'm not sure how it would ult...

Re: HELP... plague marines
Looks like I'm going to be buying a lot of these guys . You should mix them with guardsmen, for a more Sci fi feel. Also you'd get a good 30 out of it. http://www.manticgames.com/Shop-Home/Kings-of-War/Undead/Core-Units-Zombies-and-Ghouls/Product/Undead-Zombie-Horde-60-Figures.html Or you can...

Re: What you want in a Codex (6ed version)
More HQ options/Heroes would be nice. Also incorporate the Vespid and Kroot into more then a single unit, let Tau get some more variety going on.

Also, I misidentified them as a Tomb Kings unit.

Re: HELP... plague marines
The info you have on the characters is also correct. Typhus unlocks Plague Marines, but he can also make Cultist units Zombies. The Zombies lose their ranged weapons and upgrades, they also only count as having a single close combat weapon. In return, they get Fearless, Feel no Pain and Furious Cha...

Re: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Discussion
Okay, I've got a Dawn of War II question to ask: In the Optional Mission "The Wailing Doom" (Eldar Avatar mission), how the ever loving heck do you get past the sheer derth of Fire Prisms between you and the target? I'm trying to get my Squads (Commander, Tactical, Devastator, and Assault) in full T...

Re: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Discussion
My beef with Soulstorm is the overmap is cluttered and small to the point of madness. I get they want you to have a complete view of the action, but for me at least it's information overload as it's really easy to get lost in the grid. The zoomed in view when you go to attack a tile is much better, ...

Re: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Discussion
And Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Normal difficulty play through with the Tau Empire is done. Given the mechanics of the mission and the fact two other races show up within it, The Eldar Stronghold makes a fine "Final Stage". Now I'm debating between firing up Soulstorm or carrying on with DoW II. Dark ...

Re: Rust's Newbie Tau Question Thread
Ahhh. Now I get the Shield Drones! So is two overkill on my HQ? Also, can I reposition the Drones depending on where my units are in relation to the enemy forces? Basically: Can I rotate them around the model/team as needed? And in all honesty, I don't think "Shoot and Scoot" would work for me reall...

Re: Rust's Newbie Tau Question Thread
That being said, your third list has the most orthodox unit composition when it comes to playing Tau, though I don't get why your broadside team has an overly upgraded shas'vre (58 points worth of upgrades!). Points to burn, to be honest. More of "I can" then "I must". I suppose I could easily just...
