Re: Next army to get new figs/codex?

Word is Tyranids are the next 40k army after space wolfs.

Inquisation is going to be one of the last armies updated.

Dark Eldar still don't know were the F they are.

After that Necrons and Tau are the only other strong contenders for updates soon.

Making nid carapace is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Re: Help with Legion Modles.

The Seraph is shorter and thinner than a Hive tyrant and forget the Angelius, too tall, too thin. Why forget the Angelius? If it's Taller then a Hive tyrant then that works and makes up for being thinner. I'm not mixed the two kits together, I'm just doing some arm swaps. I just need something that...

Help with Legion Modles.

I want to add a Winged Hive Tyrant to my 40k army but do not like most convertions useing the pewter hive tyrant. I want to do better. So I want to convert a legion of ever blight modle. Witch of these two modles is larger/Closer to the size of a normal Hive Tyrant. http://store.miniwargaming.com/pr...

Re: Necromorphs.

For the Head Scientist how about Jarrard Kahn. Or as his enemies call him Jarrard the Cruel. Like I said Jarrard him self would not have a combat body. Instead just a withered human body with life support implants grafted onto him of his own design and careful instruction. Jarrard would be a back gr...

Re: Necromorphs.

Thanks for the suggestion. Alot of great weapon ideas for a army of Mad science! >=D I said one scientist less for practical reasons and more for the story. It makes him sound more all imposing and malevolent. Like in the faction there is no one man who could hope to over throw him. Like. If it's mu...

Re: Necromorphs.

I like the idea, It would be cool if their "leader" unit was an old scientist that is really weak but provides buffs for his zombies, and all the zombies have to protect him etc. Though I would suggest changing the name, anyone else here play Deadspace? Yah. Niffty name isn't it? If you c...

Re: What's a Good Start to a Cryx army?

I find I like a mix of both. I like armies that are fun to play on the board, but competitive enough that even if I lose I give people a run for there money. (Preferable something that can win thow helps.) What I'm thinking is building a Cryx army around Two Harrowers. From what I understand Master ...

Re: What's a Good Start to a Cryx army?

Iam a cryx player and will say first thing is the battle box is the best start. 1. denny the warcaster is one of the better warcaster abilitys wise a, Her spells like crippiling grasp will turn any enemy warjack in to a slow week punching bag. Anyone you will play against will hate this. Then you g...

Re: What's a Good Start to a Cryx army?

Re: What's a Good Start to a Cryx army?

I don't like Bile Thralls for the same reason I don't like Nurgle.

I like the Witired/rotting/skeleton looks.

I don't like the bloated look.

=/

Also that's for the wiki page. I'm reading it right now.

Re: What's a Good Start to a Cryx army?

I am probably not the best person to ask this... or to answer it, but I would probably say get the army starter box for whatever you plan on playing. The thing is. Well there great models, there not my favorite models. There for I'm not 100% if that's how I want to start. I LOVE the skeleton knight...

Re: Basilisk

Direct Firing the Basilisk can be prety punishing to the enemy. As long as you can avoid returning anti-tank fire. A Battery of bassies direct firing can cause more wounds then models in the unit. But do to barrage rules, 3 bassies in a single unit is a waste since all the templets are connected. Yo...

I use for my fex: 2 Sything talons. Tusked Toxic Sacks I Glands WS Glands Toxic Misma Flesh Hooks Renforced Chitin +SV upgrade. Toxic Misma reducing the enmy by 1, and WS glands increaseing yours by one. This effectively gives you +2 WS. You always get 6 attacks on the charge, S10, hit before power ...
