Re: 32 dollar ebay purchase help

I recognise the bits of the ruins; in the picture you're showing the floors of bits of he ruin. I've got the same set (complete) but I don't know what it's called and the GW site doesn't stock it anymore.

Re: Lewis' Dark Angels Journal

I would choose orange or red for the screen monitors, simply because that would give alot better contrast against the greens. The screen background would be blended from black to dark angels green. Was planning on using either a very bright green or blue. I could use some fiery colour though; the c...

Cheap Foam Board In The UK

Can anyone help me out? I'm looking for a cheap supplier of fairly small quantities of foam board. I'm planning on adding some sort of raised ruin (some form of temple or something) but I don't need a huge amount of board; I'm not a builder. :P Anyone know anywhere that I can get hold of some for ch...

Thanks!

I plan on putting a little map type display on the monitors inside. Green or blue, though?

Re: Weekly Painting Pledge 3/17/12 Work in Progress

I remember painting some goblins when I first started lotr.

You've done a much better job than I did. However, one small suggestion if I may: take some sandpaper/a knife to the very side of the base to get rid of the bit of basing material that's stuck to the side. :)

Re: Lewis' Dark Angels Journal

Looking good, what kinda HQ you got for that army?. Thanks. I actually bought Azrael. Looked like an interesting model to paint. More into the painting than the playing so the effectiveness doesn't really matter too much to me. However, I will be purchasing a competitive army (deathwing and ravenwi...

The only thing throwing me off are the eyes. It doesn't look like the red got all the way into the area closest to the nose. (I'm just nitpicking...)
Very helpful. Thanks :)

Re: 145 new paints from GW

A little disappointed that they've not made exact matches but at least this happened now and not once I'd already painted most of my army.

Lewis' Dark Angels Journal

I've been into miniature painting for a few years, on and off. I originally got into it through the LotR tabletop game. However, over the last few weeks I've acquired a Dark Angels force and are now going down the 40k route. I much prefer the models. I've not focused on building a competitive force;...

Re: Best Job?

There's actually a lot of scope for using the sprus as part of the terrain. Bits of wood, iron girders etc. Obviously, they're not very useful on their own but they're worth saving.
