Re: well here is the questoin age of sigmar base over base

Pivoting is movement and you can't simply pivot whenever you want. No part of the model is supposed to move further then their movement in inches.

Re: Save Warhammer – All you love in WFB.

So far, AoS seems fun. Like a 40k lite edition, thing is, I already play 40k so I have little interest in it. GW hadn't invested much interest in fantasy for a long time until end times and those rules had...issues. Certain units were ludicrously good, magic rules which did fix the "I will 6d6 this ...

Re: well here is the questoin age of sigmar base over base

Then you need to houserule otherwise people could base for advantage, and alot of the newer models kind of are with their big bases. The rules specify that the base is only there to help the model stand and are not considered part of the model. So if the rule is missing, how would you phrase that so...

Re: Matt gets his wish: Slaanesh gets the axe

I doubt many, if any, will stop playing because slaanesh is gone. Other reasons, sure, but not the least favorite daemon god being replaced (at least in my experience)? Probably not.

Re: Latest 9th Ed Rumors - MODEL PICS ADDED / RULES PICS TOO

FrigginPandas, has GW ever stated this to be a beta test because I haven't seen that. Would be nice to hear if it is.

Also seen some HE vs HE action and shooting is insane, especially if you get to go twice in a row early on, it can win you the game.

Re: Latest 9th Ed Rumors - MODEL PICS ADDED / RULES PICS TOO

Well, I'm dissapointed. The rules simply do not work. I can deal with having to talk back and forth with my opponent about what to field, I mostly play with friends anyway. But every game devolves into a blob of models fighting in the middle and we're just rolling dice again and again until one side...

Just noticed the thread below, wasn't there when I started writing this (and kept the tab open until I realised I hadn't posted it) I'll just skip over there!

Dark Vengance color scheme help!

I bought Dark Vengance and it's currently in the mail and will be here on monday, but I'm having a hard time deciding on a color scheme. I wanted to go red, but a friend of mine already has a khorne army and so I want to something different, both for practical and aestetic reasons. So, what color sc...

Re: How does focus fire work?

If you declare focus fire (before rolling but after choosing target unit) you state what the best cover save is allowed to be. I.e. 5+,6+ or even no cover save. Only units with same or worse cover save can take wounds (unless Look out Sir! is used). If it's a regular blast the template only declares...

Planetary Defence Forces? Yes, of course!

As for PDF's, FAQ's etc freely distributed on GW's site, yes. Linking to PDF copies of the rulebook, no.

Re: Ork list 6th 1500 points

Problem with rokkits is that they don't really "work" with the rest of the unit. You want to use them against light/medium armour, you don't want to use sluggas or shootas for that. And you'd have to assault the same target, and if you can charge a tank (10 rear armour) you're almost sure to glance...

Re: Who will win

All I know of nids are their ground troops. I'd assume space ships engage at several miles (proper miles not the 1.3 KM miles). So I wouldn't really know much of their ship to ship abilities.

Re: Who will win

Well, Terra is said to have some damn impressive space defences that took down a necron fleet I believe? Not sure how Nids are in space combat but unless they're great, they burn.
