Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

We were not really happy with the Orc design, for this reason we decided to restyle them from scratch. There should be at least two kind of orcs: the heavy armored ones and the Berserkers. In order to find the right style for them, we decided to currently stop working on the heavy orcs and focus on ...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

thanks!
We are changing pretty much everything on the orc warrior to make it more different from the dwarves. There's a chance that one of them (like the captain-champion) is really older and so with long beard; while most of the other orcs will have a short one or just no beard at all.

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Finally we manage to start sculpting the first (of ten) Orc Warrior. Now I'm really in trouble, as I'm not sure if I like more the Dwarves or the Orcs... What do you think about that? Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Ok, so we are preparing everything we need to launch or project! There will be almost DOUBLE of the Dwarves to be unlocked. For example the (male) Dwarven Ranger Unit will count 10 models, not just 5. This is organized in two boxes, one contain 5 Dwarvem Rangers, one contain 5 Dwarven Ranger (for a ...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Even if not finished, we wanted to share with you the work in progress of the Wulfhog Rider. While the beast pose is almost complete, the rider right now is just a mix of the other dwarves. In the end each of the raiders will be new dwarves in ranger armor, 3 males and 3 ladies. The weapon is not fi...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Man do I love your design aesthetic! You manage to get a lot of expression out of the faces, you're really doing a bang up job. Just need to fix those ranger toes..... :) Keep up the great work! Here it is ;) I don't want to change the design, just to make it a little bit more comfortable. This is ...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

MORE BEER!!! Heh, it would be kind of fun to see one that has an attachable cart. In the cart, you can put a cannon...or a giant keg/multiple kegs! that's a really great idea, and fun for different game modes! I think it's not hard to make a wooden little chart and attach it (I mean manually, with ...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Guys, there will be surely 3 backpack variants and every one will have different accessories, and pose. For every pose you will also be able to change the rotation of the limbs, change the rider parts etc. We plan to make 3 males and 3 females, what do you think about 2 musicians (with a drum on bac...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Even if not nearly finished, we wanted to share with you the Woar beast, also known as Wulfhog. This creature will be mounted by dwarves (and maybe barbarians in future, with custom saddle and armor). It's just a T-pose, it means that it's in a early symetrical stage and so not posed. The final Wulf...

Re: Artisan Guild Miniatures - News about Sculpting, Casting

Those are some great, really characterful sculpts! There's only a couple of minor tidbits. I don't like the square panels on the toes of the Rangers boots. It makes them look like they are wearing boxes for shoes, especially the way the design is reflected in the shinguard. I think you could curve ...
