What should I get?

I'm just getting into Eldar, and I'm not sure where to go from here. I want to focus on craftworlds, but also mix in detachments from the other Aeldari factions, or maybe just play Ynari. So far I have a Farseer w/skyrunner, three Windriders, a Night Spinner, six Fire Dragons, and a Wraithlord. I al...

Fire Prism or Nightspinner?

So, assuming I'm to lazy to magnetize for both options, is it better to build the kit as a Fire Prism or a Nightspinner? Which is more effective on the battlefield? Which is the most useful against the most enemy factions and unit types?

Do the fire prism and wave serpent have the same chassis?

What I want to know is whether the fire prism that comes in the start collecting Eldar set can be used as a wave serpent by just changing the turret.

Re: Paint stripping not working

I tried using a brush with stiffer bristles and it worked a little better, so I guess it's just going to be a little more effort than I anticipated. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Paint stripping not working

It's a bunch of plastic Space Marines. So whatever plastic GW uses.

Re: Paint stripping not working

What I mean is that after soaking I still can't really scrub the paint off with a brush. I can barely even scrape it off with a hobby knife.

Paint stripping not working

I've been soaking some minis in concentrated Simple Green for about four or five days now and the paint still isn't really coming off. I'm not sure what kind of paint is on some of them, but most just have regular Citadel. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Is this an okay start?

Thanks for the help. After checking the catalogues, i found out that I actually have a Solitare, so that's a cool surprise. By the way, they all still use 25mm bases, right?

Re: Is this an okay start?

The Troupes are two groups of six, so I'm assuming that there are two Masters in there somewhere, but I'm not sure which ones they are.The sculpts, while cool, are kinda confusing to look at.

Re: Is this an okay start?

Thanks for the advice. My main concern was that they wouldn't have the proper equipment modeled on them. The Shadowseer, for instance, looks like it has a lightning claw, or something.

Is this an okay start?

About a year ago, my sister gave me a box of minis she found at a yard sale or something, and I just recently bothered to go through them and see what they were. As it terns out, they were a number of old Rogue Trader era Harlequins. There was a Shadowseer, two Death Jesters, and two full Troupes. S...

Are there any good Mecha RPGs?

I know that there is a Battletech one, but Ive heard it's overly complex. I've also heard of old Macross and Robotech ones, but I don't know much about them, and I'm always Dubious about older games. And finally, I know about Robotech RPG Tactics, but it's not an RPG despite having "RPG" in the title.

Has anyone who preordered Operation Icestorm gotten it yet?

I'm seeing YouTube videos and forum posts from people who say that it's out now, but mine hasn't even shipped yet. I preordered it fairly early, then on the day it was supposed to come out I got an email saying it was going to be delayed for "at least two weeks" and I haven't heard anything else fro...

How hard are Infinity models to assemble and paint?

My brother and I were thinking about getting into Infinity with the Operation Icestorm box, but first I'd like to know about the physical models. From what I've seen of them, they look like they are really detailed and have a lot of tiny parts. Using Warmachine as a comparison, how much harder are I...

I have questions on some Mercenary solos

I play Khador and have seen Quite a few lists that include Mercenary solos, namely Sylys Wyshnalyrr, Kell, and Eiryss, and was wondering what exactly these models bring to the table, what kind of lists to use them in, and any other Mercs who work well with Khador. Any advice would help, thanks.
