Re: The Fallen Soldier Chronicles Part 5: Monotony

Wow... What's new Roy? I got so caught up in my senior year of high school and graduating that I haven't even been here in almost a year. I need to write more, that's for sure. I need motivation more than anything. I know this is a late response to your message from a couple months ago, but if you w...

Re: Salvagers History: Chapter 2 - Flaws in the system

I like it. It's definitely good to have a solid idea of the Salvagers' background, and the story is great. keep it up.
I'm going to try and write at some point today, so I might have something up soon.

Re: Salvager History: Chapther 1 - Origins

Good to see you're still writing, even amidst the desolate landscape that the fan fiction forum has blossomed into. This is good, seeing as any attempt to develop a history for the Salvagers has failed for me, this is definitely a good read. I like the idea of workers protesting automated factories....

Re: The Past: Part 3

This one is a bit darker than my usual pieces. The history between Anata and Sven is not as happy as you might think, and so I want to make sure the emotion gets across.
I hope people continue to read these, and I want comments and critiques as usual.
Thanks!

The Past: Part 3

The corridor was dark and it had an eerie feel to it. Despite the urge to check behind every crate or dumpster for fear of the evil that her imagination could create, Anata enjoyed the solitude. The only sounds that perforated the silence were that of her footsteps and her schoolbag brushing against...

The Past: Part 2

“So Blake is really going down to Earth?” Sven was following Anata home from school, like usual, and had to ask all of his inane questions. She wished that just once she could have some time alone, but he constantly annoyed her by hanging around. The biggest issue was that there really was nowhere t...

Re: The Past: Part 1

You are alive! I am glad to see you are still with us. I got tied up in work this summer and didn't get around to writing anything. When I noticed how dead the Fanfic section has been, I thought I'd liven it up, then I got tied in work again. Hopefully when the school year starts I will have more fr...

Re: The Past: Part 1

I'm back, with a new character and a new adventure. Still keeping to the Reclaimers and keeping Sven in mind, I look into a new side of him, his past. We follow a childhood friend of his, Anata, as she dares the challenges of life on Earth during her dangerous search across post-apocalyptic Unified ...

The Past: Part 1

“Bang! You’re dead.” Her arms were outstretched, her two index fingers together pointing at her friend. This was their favorite game. “That’s three now. How are you going to be in the recovery force if you can’t even beat a girl?” She enjoyed taunting him. Whenever they were doing things around the ...

Re: 0.2.1 falling back (fleeing) re-work

I playtested my idea for fleeing this weekend and it actually worked extraordinarily well. Playing as X'lanthos, my main force was on on side of the table while my assassin bases were on the other. The main body caused some failed leadership tests an the enemy ran right into my assassin. I like how ...

Re: The Animals

The current basis for the animal faction is based on troogoodoor's Lanthoformers thread:http://www.miniwargaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=70003 My piece I used to help explain the animals, using troogoodoor's basic concepts is right here: http://www.miniwargaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=119...

Re: 0.2.1 falling back (fleeing) re-work

Would the units continue to run off the board if they fail each attempted rally or after a certain distance from the enemy would they head for cover? I say they run away until rallied or until out of line of sight of all enemies on the board. If out of line of sight of all, and I mean ALL of the en...

Re: The Animals

There is nothing set in stone about the Animals other than that they are Animals. I've basically taken artistic freedom with them in my writing, so you can basically do anything right now with the Animals.
