Re: Not the blightwasps!

The models are...interesting. I could learn to live with them. What do people think of their rules? I'm...iffy about them to say the least.

Re: Menoth vs Cryx... Still lost

Their ability to make cloud effects could help with that, or pair them with an iron flesh caster.

Re: Menoth vs Cryx... Still lost

If they are really small games, even Ternions will help mitigate some of those shenanigans as well. Though Outriders are much more mobile for the task. Doom Reavers will also help you deal with some of those issues as well since they all have magic weapons. Also, they can't be targeted by Cryx spel...

Re: Menoth vs Cryx... Still lost

Greylord Outriders may not be a bad idea. They're even faster than Uhlans, and they have magic sprays, which could help clear those pesky Banes, and then they could use their light cavalry movement to get away, whereas the Uhlans may get eaten after they charge whatever it is theyre supposed to be c...

Fair enough, wasn't thinking of 15 points at that point, unless I was playing Thagrosh1 I probably wouldn't want to take him at 15 points. A Scythean and Shredder would probably serve better.

Re: Starting Legion

I would personally recommend the fury management options over the deathstalker, with Lylyth only being 5 Fury, you may find yourself stretched too thin without it. I would also recommend the double Shepard, so that you can remove more Fury, and also have the option to heal, which, strangely enough i...

Re: You love the faction...

Not a particular fan of the hood either, makes her look a little like the sand people from Star Wars. I wish Blighted Nyss Swordsmen would get a resculpt and repackaged into a full unit, I think the models as is are kinda goofy. The heads seem too big, the swords too small. Loving the new Strider Ra...

Re: You love the faction...

I think the Blighted Nyss Swordsmen look cool, but their models look kinda goofy, i dont like the heads. It was always the Legion Seraph for me. Solid stats and abilities, but a HIDEOUS sculpt. It got a resculpt (and a Neraph variant) in the past week or so, finally... so I suppose I'll have to own ...

Re: Circle Orboros - Getting Started

I don't play Circle, but I've played against Circle plenty of times and can definetly say you can't go wrong with a Warpwolf Stalker. Those guys are just too good, and the new Riphorn Satyr is really good too if you're looking into the goats. Morvhanna2 would be a great new warlock, although I think...

Re: Khador Getting Started - Where do I go from here?

I'm certainly not a fan of jack marshalls, I don't find them reliable. I love how Man o Wars look, but don't think them very good either. That being said, in my opinion if you want to go Karchev your best bet is armor skew, with jacks and mechanics being your main force. If you want infantry, Iron F...

Thinking about starting PanOceania

Hey there, A friend of mine started playing Infinity, and wants me to start playing with him. Although I am currently working on a Legion of Everblight army, he's going to buy me a starter pack for my birthday, and looking through the armies I have settled on PanOceania. Now to my question. Is it be...

Re: Warmachine: Vengeance, and Hordes: Exigence

Gonna get the Grolar, going to be cautiously optimistic about it. I like the weapons, and having gunfighter with virtuoso is going to make this guy really fun up close. Going to still cross my fingers for another jack though, maybe Privateer Press really really loves me.

Re: Cephalyx Merc Faction

If that were the case, I would almost be willing to give up my plans for Legion, and double dip into both the Cephalyx and Cryx. Choices. However, I'll still be shoring up the gaps in my Khador first. Butcher 3 released yesterday to the general public ( :D ), I want an Ogrun Bokur for him and the Ma...

Re: i need lil advise on trollbloods/convergence

I can't comment on Cyriss, but for Trolls, you could look at a Dire Troll Mauler, Pyre Trolls, Slag Troll and Mulg on the Beasts side and be in good shape there. For another warlock I would recommend Doomshaper1, Doomshaper2 or Grim1, all three are really good. For units you can't go wrong with Fenn...

Re: MWG Campaign: Why are you not in it?

It seems like a really cool idea, and seems fun but: 1) I'm in China studying abroad, I can't really play 40k out here. 2) My LGS, which I discovered like 6 months ago, doesn't really play 40k, which limits down to me and 2-3 of my other friends, where we alternate between 40k and Warmachine. 3) I d...
