Re: Recon squad

Chaos uses all of those already, sans snipers rifles, likely due to how Chaos Space Marines fight. They don't really have a use for them, since they typically want to experience their enemy's death firsthand.

Re: Recon squad

Many thanks for this. I really dont understand how:- During heresy the traitors lost half the weapons and vehicles that are in current use in 40k Not raided places and reclaim weapons and vehicles from the fighting over 10,000 years The dark mechcanicium have had a brain fart for 10,000 years and f...

Re: Recon squad

Chaos Space Marines version of Scouts would be Chosen. They're forward operatives that operate outside of the battlefield, scouting the juiciest target for plunder.

Re: Regaining cp

Custodes only get it on a unique character, and only once per game, with an ability that can do more useful stuff.

Re: Khorne Berzerkers

There are three books that use the keyword HERETIC ASTARTES . Chaos Space Marines, Death Guard, and Thousand Sons. Khorne Berzerkers only appear in the generic Chaos Marines book, and while Plague Marines appear in the same book, the Drone and the Poxwalkers don't. As far as loadout is concerned, mo...

Re: Custodes/IG Mix

With that many bodies and 13 command points, do you even need a battalion's worth of regular Custodian Guard? Seems to me you'd want a vanguard detachment with multiple Vexilla.

Re: Most expencive units

Titans. Hands down. The Reaver (?Warhound? Whatever is the 2nd tier titan before Imperitor) titan LEFT ARM is over 200 USD. All told to build the full thing is over 2k USD if you want the full armament, and it's too big to fit on most tables. It also costs over 10k points. Not as much as you'd thin...

Re: Sentinal weapon options - Chapter Approved.

Basilisks can take hits way better than Heavy Weapon Teams, though. They also come with a heavy bolter. So while they're more expensive, to write them off because you don't see the value seems foolish to me. For getting heavy weapons onto the table, Teams are more efficient, but they're about as stu...

Re: dark eldar Spirit Probe

It uses the wording "Whenever a Chronos ~~ inflicts one or more unsaved wounds" Using the wording "one or more" and "Whenever a Chronos" we can see that each Chronos tracks independently of each other, since it doesn't say "Chronos unit", and the wording of one or more means that the spirit probe on...

Re: Grey Knights are you out there?

Plus back in 5th ed when they were introduced as army They've been around a lot longer than fifth edition. Maybe I am wrong but wasn't 5th ed when they got they first Codex thus making them playable army rather than part of fluff? Because that's what I meant. After all they might had been part of f...

Re: Grey Knights are you out there?

In my area, all the of the Grey Knight players except for a couple of them played them because they were powerful, not because they liked the faction. As a result. I only see those two guys still playing them.

Signet, you should know better than to try and put multiple relics on a single character.
