Pretty sure he's talking about the 10-point mutation that, along with the Talisman of Preservation and the Mark of Tzeentch gives him a 3++ ward save that rerolls 1s; with the mount and a cheap Enchanted shield he'd have a 1 armor save and flying. Not to shabby for 350-ish points.

Er, the charioteers are only strength 4 and so the knights will get a 4+/6++ save. You might manage to kill one model with two wounds, let's say. Two more strike back (probably to include the champion) with three attacks--because you wouldn't have killed the unit champion--at strength 5 and four Peg...

Snap fire if they move, no penalty otherwise. Personally, I like Rhinos to avoid plasma and battle cannons. Missile launchers are awfully expensive to risk only snap-firing, and staying still in an armored vehicle--particularly one as thin-skinned as a Rhino--kind of defeats the purpose for me. If ...

Sorry if I'm coming into this too late for it to matter. Depends on how fluffy you want to get, but why not throw in a heavy bolter in the tactical squads? Rerolling 1s is pretty sweet with the chapter tactics. Also concur on the devastators; again, I'd take advantage of chapter tactics here as well...

Regarding warshrines: while they are helpful in getting the ol' demon prince (particularly if you have a unit of chosen who get to roll on the Eye of the Gods chart at the beginning of the game with extra dice automatically if a warshrine is nearby), they also are pretty sweet buff-wagons for an inf...
