Re: Starting a Khador Army

Go with the Black Dragons, you will not be disappointed. The IFP Kovnik makes them even more amazing!

Re: New to circle

Both Kayas can run beast heavy and honestly, I have had a lot of success with pKaya with the battle box beasts. A Pureblood is a good investment to run with the Feral as it gives the Feral access to Ghostly thanks to the Pureblood's Leadership [Warpwolves]. With Morvana, she likes infantry. She work...

Re: My first 25pts Khador list

Looking good so far. Will back up gobbo on the purchase of either Beast or Spriggan as your next 'jack choices. I most definitely max out the Winter Guard. And you certainly can't go wrong with adding Andrei to the mix. I love the War Dog, but Reinholdt and Sylyss are both worth looking at as well w...

Re: Starting a Khador Army

Very nice. Yeah, must have been the pics because I can see much more depth on that last Juggy.

Re: Starting a Khador Army

Yeah, sorry should have been more clear about the color. Not the shade per se, but the depth. They look flat (for either red or orange). Some wash to achieve either shade you are looking for will give the models more depth. But this could also be from the photos. I have seen models in person that we...

Re: Starting a Khador Army

Very nice work! A few mold lines on the 'jack and the red could use just a touch of wash to give it some depth, but overall they look very nice! The destroyer's gun barrel could use some black in the bore as well so it doesn't look solid. Really liking where these are going though!

Re: New Player Debating which warcaster to try first

Ok, so I play Khador and have dabbled in some of the others. These have been by experiences with these casters. Khador: Harkevich/Strakhov - these guys are difficult to learn and are pretty unforgiving to new players. They take a good grasp of not only the core rules, but how they affect each model ...

Re: KS exclusive box set

Your starting value will be whatever amount you had to pledge to get the box in the first place. Can't remember what that was. As far as an actual value, I would say its not going to be much more than that amount unless someone really wants them. Honestly, a lot of folks have started buying the stan...

Re: Starting a Khador Army

Welcome to the Motherland. pSorscha is a great beginning caster. I personally find her the most interesting to play and play her the most often vs. the other Khador casters. But then, I have been playing her from the start and it was a large learning curve to be able to utilize her in different ways...

Re: Are achievements ruining the league?

I don't understand your argument about the 1mm. How is playing by the rules wrong? I mean, he's either in a charge range or out, mesuring properly as nothing to do with competition, it's simply playing right. It wasn't an argument , just an extreme example. Wasn't saying playing by the rules is wro...

Re: Are achievements ruining the league?

If all you want is to build and convert and paint awesome models, Warmachine and Hordes is not for you. It's a game called Warhammer  . Furthermore, why would I not like to paint because I like to win? How is that connected? Really? So, I can't play WM/HDS because I like painting and converti...

Re: Are achievements ruining the league?

Why not the same with Wargaming? Why not doing a League where the best player wins, and every game is a tough one, Because not all wargamers are all about the competitive aspect of the game. In your example, you are leaving out part of the community because you are only catering to the other part. ...

Re: Are achievements ruining the league?

I hope they always keep achievements. These are things that can get newer players interested who may not have been before. They should fit or be connected to the league or event fluff however. So for The Longest Night, points for coming in costume or bringing snacks are things that new players can d...
