Paint durability and Primers.

Hey guys; I'm here with some questions. I have been out of painting my models for quite some times now (at least a year by now) and I want to get back into it. However, while I have a good supply of paints, they are rather old by now. They have been sitting on my shelf, out of sunlight, and closed t...

Just do a quick google search, and you could have print, video, diagrams, pretty much whatever format you want.
Good idea. Thanks again.

Re: Night Lords Paint

Awesome! Now I don't mind someone would be so kind to post a step-by-step process on how to paint them? It's mostly for a friend who wants to get into Warhammer 40k - so a basic, advance, or both, guide using all or some of the paints listed would just make my day.

Night Lords Paint

Hey, I'm looking for a good list of paints I will need to paint some detailed Night Lords. It should have everything I need to fully paint a Night Lords Chaos Marine. Spare nothing from your list.

Thanks!

Morale Centered.

I've never really thought about it, but are there any strategies/unit composition centered/rely upon your army having a high leadership/morale? Or strategies that focus on destroying your enemies morale?

Re: Way of the Highlight

i was told (or read) that dry brushing is not a very good technique. - it is a "novice" technique as i saw - that it wears down the paint brushes fast - can give a "rough" look at times. While it is still a good way of painting... i'm under the impression that there are better and/or easier ways in ...

'Uge Choppas

Me for idk how many times today Anway, i was finking about giving my nobz a bit more itimidating look, say along the lines of giant two-handed axes/maces!! For Big Choppas, the codex says they are two handed weapons. But GW (the pictures at least) seem to sell a warboss with a big choppa, but he onl...

Re: Way of the Highlight

perhaps i'm not being clear. i am asking HOW to highlight. The technique you use to paint it. Not what colors to put over the other or other materials. How do you paint on highlights...?

Re: Grey Knight Primach

Gene-seeds are used to "pruduce" space marines. Grey Knights are psykers BEFORE they become inducted (thats one criteiria). Gene-seed are used only by space marines. - thus, primarchs do not have "gene-seeds." They are like "semi-clones" of the emperor... part of his DNA is in them. So magnus (while...

Way of the Highlight

hey... i think i have the general sense on how to highlight well.... but i'm not quite sure. Anyways, i have some Grey Knights and it says to "highlight" mithril silver over the "basecoat" of boltgun metal. Does this mean i simply paint over the base coat (for flat surfaces of the armor) and leave s...

PainBoss + GW

If i were to enter in a GW tournament or event, and used cybork boyz (as if i had Mad Dok Grotsnik in my army), but i never fancied the idea of ONE special character in the whole galaxy fighting in my army. So instead, if I converted Grotsnik parts to a painboss, could he still be counted as Grotsni...

Ingravings

I'm now a decent painter... grey knights are looking better every time. However, does anyone know how best to paint the gold ingravings on the power armor (espeicaly for the terminators). -also, what is the best way to write names and such on them?
