Re: Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint 2017

Just a quick update, as I havent been doing a whole lot on the hobby front lately. I recently received some aquarium plants that I had ordered for my nid bases and managed to get a few done. Still have 4 hormagaunts to do, and then will start in on the termagants. https://i.imgur.com/VHGagHI.jpg htt...

I have, however, been able to do some work on my nids, and even acquired a few more... http://i.imgur.com/4vvc0Fj.jpg I also picked up a toxicrene... and did some work on his base: http://i.imgur.com/MffOGQq.jpg I w...

Re: Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint 2017

Its amazing what you can just forget about! I had originally picked them up when they finally released the plastic kits... so they've been around for a while. I ended up getting some work done on my Tyranids, built and basecoated the Tervigon and did a bunch of work on some termagants, but im not en...

Re: Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint 2017

Thanks! Im rather enjoying it. Got an order in the other day, picked up a tervigon and some termagants to flesh out my nids a little more, and so far, the gants are built and primed, and the tervigon is half-built. On the weekend I got poking around for some bits and ended up stumbling across someth...

Re: Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint 2017

Thanks! I was going for something relatively quick / easy that wouldn't crush my soul when having to paint dozens of models.

Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint 2017

Well, Its been a while since I've been here, and about as long since I've picked up a brush. But since the announcement of 8th edition, it seemed like a good time to get back into things and start the Tyranids that I have been putting off for so long. Here is some WiP shots, mostly done, just need s...

Re: Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint

Thanks! I have a Water, Earth and Air elemental left, but I havent decided how I'm going to paint those up.. I keep hearing about heroclix... how is it? After watching the Deathwatch campaign, I now have a hankering to see if I can use it to get both of my Brother-in-laws into 40k. Rules seem easy e...

Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint

Well, For whatever reason, motivation hasn't been high lately. I have a ton of projects on the go, but no desire to actually put paint to plastic, so I have tried to step back for a bit rather than force it. Here is the result of a quick session, not too long ago, of some miniatures from the Temple ...

Re: Sarkastik's #theweeklypaint 2015

Well, its been a while since I was here last, I guess 11 months.. as it turns out I burned myself out on painting, but this past week decided to test the waters again. Here is a WIP Chaos lord conversion that would work as either a chaos lord, or count-as Kharn. Right now I have just been working at...
