Re: My lore theory

Only the blood angels are blonde and blue eyes though. Dark Angels ls typically have dark halr and often times resemble native americans, same with the raven guard. The Salamanders have jet black skin and red eyes. other chapters vary as well. That said the Imperium is definitely a fascist nazi like...

The legs are ev...

Re: Decided to start Dark Elves. What should I get first..?

Dark Riders, Bolt Throwers, Shades and Doomfire Warlocks are probably the biggest must haves in the book. For core Witch Elves have always done well by me. I also typically run Dreadspears over Bleakswords. They aren't a main line combat unit for me, just a bunker for my mages and bsb so they won't ...

To be fair, it was exactly the same last edition too, now you just don't need to pass a leadership test.

The Apostle doesn't confer counter-attack on to the unit though.

Re: Sons of Fortune, A Tzeentch Renegade WIP

As nice as the Thousand Sons dreadnought is from forge world my warband has nothing to do with their legion and it's just not mutated enough to fit in with my army.

Re: What is your favorite edition of 40k?

Probably 3rd edition for me. I enjoyed much of 4th edition as well but it has some issues. I absolutely hated 5th, it was the most boring cookie cutter edition to date. I hadn't played 6th enough to really have a good opinion of it and so far I've played a single game of 7th edition but so far I lik...

Re: Sons of Fortune, A Tzeentch Renegade WIP

I finished my first two Possessed today (well the second needs to get based but close enough). I purchased a box of possessed alongside the first unit of Chaos Marines to use for mutations, these two as well as a Chaos Lord conversion are what was left of the box after doing so. While at my local ga...

Re: When do M's go out of date?

Standard format a core set rotates out every two blocks (a block being three linked sets each year). So if you're playing standard every two years them core set rotates out. If you're playing modern format all cards from 8th edition on are legal.

Sons of Fortune, A Tzeentch Renegade WIP

Way back at the start of the 4th edition Chaos Codex I started my own custom Tzeentch Warband but after frustrations with the book I ended up parting ways with them and waiting for the 6th edition book to start up my Night Lords. Well after frustrations with the Night Lords as well under the current...

He got them cheaper than retail at the time but it was probably like $50 CAN for 10 of them so sure, not cheap.

Re: Identifying Tyranid models

Oh man a friend of mine who plays Tyranids picked up a few of the old metal gargoyles back in 4th edition and we spent an entire afternoon trying to get those things to stay together. Eventually we rage quit and gave up and he didn't use Gargoyles once until the plastics came out. Also I kind of mis...

Re: Decided to go for my own Warband instead.. Sugestions..?

Khorne and Slaanesh as the brotherly rivalry sounds perfect to me. Everyone just seems to assume they just kill each other on sight. They hate what each other stands for and their methods. Two brothers, one on each side, fighting to prove their way is better is perfectly in character for champions m...
