Re: Burna and loota conversion question
Could I get the loota burn a kit and the 4 snap fit ork boys(in gw orks troop section) saw off their arms and put on the opposite of whatever I put on the models in the burn a kit? Are they about the same size? I did this exactly, saves quite a bit of money and it's a fairly easy conversion. As far...

Very nice, all I would say is darken the skull at the back as it looks to clean and new
Not sure if I missed it, but how did you do the metallic areas?

Re: I hate Green Stuff...
I know lot's as been added, but I'll thow in my 2 cents as well. Because of the elasticity of green stuff it is actually not a very good product to work with. Rather then building up a sculpt in one go, it's better to slowly add more and more layers to achieve the final result. By rolling out a piec...

Re: Imperial guard green stuff
Pretty dam sexay
But if this is your first go at greenstuffing, is it a good idea to do it to a whole unit?
In a few weeks when your skills have progressed more you may regret that and want to do it again. I really like them, I'm not hatin'
just saying

Would 28mm be the right scale?
But they are quite nice sculpts, even for a metal casting which, normally with smaller companies, doesn't look as proffesional.

Re: Imperial Guard: Cadian 501st "Spades"
Perhaps they're a cadian regiment that were dispatched to a jungle world? Perhaps they've adapted to suit the environment :) Also, the back pages of the IG codex contain some photos of cadians with a similiar bright green appearance, so I'm guessing that if the 'eavy metal team get away with it, you...

Re: My huge WIP Imperial guard army, [Lots of pictures]
Ooh, non-appropriate joke, playing warhammer makes me badass  But seriously?? Anyways, done some more painting, might upload my labours tommorrow morning as long as I get no more warnings for anything :? And thanks, I can't read the writing on the side of the coin, but I remember the rus...

Re: Imperial Guard: Cadian 501st "Spades"
I Like. Of course, just my luck I happen to open up a WIP IG thread BEFORE noticing this... One question, your command squad, is that a platoon or HQ squad?? They are equipped with the HQ standard, but I'm guessing all those troops need a platoon commander?? Really nice paint job, the vibrant green ...

My huge WIP Imperial guard army, [Lots of pictures]
Okay. so after a long time of lack of warhammer, I have motivated myself to actually create an Imperial Guard army. Why? Because that are the best. I mean, who else throws themselves at a large green monster and claims they are helpong the imperium? So currently I have wasted my money on:- An Imperi...

I agree though, space wolves look cool, have some brand new sets on the market and are popular so you can get lots of advice from guys off of the forum.

Imperial guard questions
After much thinking, I am deciding to start a new army of Imperial Guard, however as I do not own a codex there a re some questions I would like to ask. Firstly, can vostroyan models be played alongside standard Cadian troops? I have always loved the models of the firstborn, but I don't want an army...

Re: Sentry Gun
In my opinion, I don't think you need a set of official GW rules for a sentry gun :? I prefer to look at the rulebook as 'guidelines' and in a game just add whatever you feel like adding as long as your opponent agrees. Most games played with my brother involve ridiculous machinery, completely made ...

Re: Trench building {help!!}
Yes, trenches where shaped in a jagged line as to not allow shrapnel bursts to be able to travel far :) But as I only plan to make this a diorama, it will be a small section of trench and I might not be able to convincingly carry out any shape in the trench. Thanks for the good advice though, right ...
