Re: Q: relic blade and how they are effected by 6th ed

But wouldn't it gain a Ap 2 like the Relic Blade rules say in the codex?

Re: Got my Dark Vengeance...

It is incredible how you just crank out one amazing miniature after another. You do very fine work. I really like how the new regular set costs less than the Assault on Black Reach (correct me if I'm wrong). It has more miniatures, with better gear (the terminators have an assault cannon, the captai...

Re: Space Marine list vs. Tyranids

Yes but then the force organization chart makes that impossible.

Space Marine list vs. Tyranids

So, in a few days I'll be fighting a tyranid army, who the controlling player has hinted that he will try to get in genestealers and maybe a Carnifex. This is a 500 point list. My list has been made as a slight response to this: HQ: Captain: Relic Blade and Storm Bolter: 133 points Troops: Tactical ...

Really? I have heard differently. Still terminators sound like they are back to being good.

6th Edition: Changing World

So, must of the wargamers here have had a little chat bout the new rules in various topics, but I thought it might be time to really have a topic devoted to the impact on the Space Marine army. For me, I'm exhilarated about the defensive fire ability (squads fire at a squad that assaults them before...

Re: Which Scrapling Design Do You Like The Most?

I for one chose E. D came second. Reason: E had a look about it that didn't scream "I might be a garbage bot, but what I really do is kick butt!" E had a sort of simple design and averageness that didn't make it look like it was made for combat. It looked like something that was meant for another jo...

Re: Reclaimers what units should they have?

I would want the Reclaimers standard weapon to be something like the Eldar shuriken-catapult, some gaussian gun that would shoot out a quick flurry of monomolecular blades. It wouldn't be that powerful, but scares people more than anything (maybe a forced morale check for just being fired at?). As I...

Re: Reclaimers before Salvagers?

I think the general consensus says that the Salvagers need to be later in production than the salvagers. I was looking forward to the Salvagers, but as all the people have stated so far, they would rather see this business do less risky decisions than to risk the models being a flop. Thanks for the ...

Re: Model Price Range

I like the price range set by Matt so far. The whole $10-$15 per solo is great ($22.25 for a Space Marine Captain :( ). I also really like the price for the starter box being around $50-75($99.00 for Assault on Black Reach ). To the best of my knowledge, GW just lost my continued support for th...

Re: The Techmarine

I do agree that the Techmarine is a really cool model. The moment I saw it I new that there would be a place for it in my army.

So what would you do to improve the Techmarine, and not the MOTF?

The Techmarine

So, it seems to me like the Techmarine is incredibly unpopular amongst Space Marine players. I have to agree with this, but I wanted to get some opinions on: 1. Are there ways to use Techmarines to good effect. Tell some stories if so. & 2. What ways could the Techmarine be improved upon in, hopeful...

Tactical Squad Styles

So recently, I've been thinking about what to really do with Tactical Squads. That might seem really dumb, as they are the backbone of the Space Marine army, but people often kit them out for completely different jobs. My question is simple: what do you do with your tacticals. The poll is to see wha...

Re: Tether - undertones of Dark Potential

I also think the later soldiers were really close to what I think the Reclaimers would be like: Merciless. Living in space for decades, and hearing abut the lesser people below would be a great way to portray them.
