Re: Latest Work...warning lots of pictures

Thanks. :D I might try and put something together and place on youtube...if I can work out how to do it. I wont make it overly complicated or long but I will try and show some basic techniques. Just have to get myself organised.

Re: Latest Work...warning lots of pictures

@ Loota About a week for competition entries. That is to assemble and paint. The marauder unit took a week but they were already old paint work that I retouched and cleaned up. Other stuff usually takes a night or two. I often work on a couple of projects at once...latest for instances, I started on...

Re: Latest Work...warning lots of pictures

@ Loota They are mainly GW paints, including foundations. Some of the bluish/ greens are VMC paints. @ Worldmuncher and Timetravelisboring No he is a pinkish/brown orc- it is the colour scheme a mate of mine is using on his Orc army. Hence the colours used. It is a bit rough that one and I did paint...

Re: Chaos Juggernaut

I have to agree the beast is very boring lol, it was the part I was trying to do something different with and I just ended up adding too many washes. The paint you should try for the brass rust is actually VMC verde- it is actually what it is designed for.

Chaos Juggernaut

This is really nothing special and I wasnt altogether happy with the conversion but I thought I would post it anyway. It only took a few hours to paint and it is only for my army. Just thought I might try something different with this one and dont think it really worked that well.... http://i127.pho...

Re: Golden Demon Baltimore 2009 Winners

There are some great entries in there but my two favorite were done by Aaron....the Masque and the Avatar both brilliant miniatures. This reminds me I must get on with a couple of projects again this year for the Australian Golden Demon. I must show some work in progress on this site once I start.

Re: Marauder Unit

It takes that long because really each are two miniatures- the rider and the horse. So it takes a while and that does not even count the shield. @ Jombo To be honest I dont play as often as I would like due mainly to lack of people to play in my area. I do have a touranment or two coming up though t...

Re: Marauder Unit

Thanks for the kind word guys. :D @ Joe That can easily be fixed just drop me a PM anytime, if you want to talk about anything. @ A Luna Most of these took about 15 hours each to complete- so really not that quick. The army is a bit of mixture when it comes to painting. Some of it I did about 6-7 ye...

Re: CSM Test - Dragons of Oblivion

I think it looks great as it is. Just wondering about the borders though are you going with dark metallics or dark bluish grey (nmm). Either would look great but just wondering which you had in mind?

Re: Marauder Unit

I have nearly finished one but I still have to touch him up a bit first and finish the shield. I think it still needs more green on the banner as well. I have done more since this nd should have the unit done by the end of the week. @ A Luna It really isnt my best work.....just army stuff. :) http:/...
