Re: Vampire Counts army question

Just a heads up, everything I'm going to say is with regards to Fantasy 8th edition (I haven't played AoS, nor do I have any desire to play AoS) The Vampire Counts army is named after their leaders, who raise the zombies and skeletons to do their bidding. Vampire Counts are not a glass cannon type a...

Re: Curse of Undeath lore attribute

Quickly reading through the attribute, it specifies a model that has lost a wound, as in your example, the Dire Wolf is dead and not on the battlefield, it cannot restore a wound. If it said "another friendly unit", then yes, you could use it to restore dead zombies, skeletons, and what not. If say,...

DEADLIEST WARRIOR! WARHAMMER FANTASY EDITION

In a similar vein to the Deadliest Warrior TV series, I will be doing different scenarios, pitting the many characters of the Warhammer Fantasy universe against each other to see who will stand above the others. I will be selecting a random hero or lord choice from one army book to face off against ...

Re: Why so much hate for AoS?

The only new toy the Orcs and Goblins got was Grimgor, Incarnate of Beasts.

They were in about 1 or 2 scenarios each in Nagash and Glottkin and weren't in any in Thanquol, IIRC. But at least they were more involved in the story than the Lizardmen were.

They were in a couple of battles in Nagash and Glottkin as well as Archaon.

Lizardmen were part of the prologue in Nagash and then never appeared again until Thanquol.

EDIT: Forgot about Skarsnik's campaign to take over Karak Eight Peeks in Thanquol.

Re: Why so much hate for AoS?

An issue that I have with the setting in general is what they've done to the Lizardmen. Once, they were the children of the Old Ones, the first race to grace the Warhammer World, and the first empire to rise. Staunch guardians working together to create and fulfill the Great Plans of the Old Ones. H...

Re: Zipding's #theweeklypaint

So, I got another kit. Let's just say I'm going to update the list in this post so it's easier to read. Lizardmen: 2 Jungle Swarms (2 snakes per base are basecoated) Vampire Counts: Strigoi Ghoul King (Assembled, mostly basecoated, not on base) Skaven 1 Warp Lightning Cannon (frame done) 1 Doomwheel...

Re: Zipding's #theweeklypaint

lol nice link Kov haha love that terrorgheist Zipding, I have one for my son's horde but we've not put it together yet If your son doesn't mind, I would definitely recommend painting it in sub assemblies. I did mine as body+head, and each limb separate. It makes painting the rib cage and the stuff ...

Re: Zipding's #theweeklypaint

I have the video uploaded and you can watch it here.

Unfortunately Guildenstern, your guesses were incorrect.

The completed model was the Terrorgheist and the new model was the Doomwheel.

You get some cred because I will be getting a Hellpit Abomination and possibly a Mortis Engine.
