Re: And the super swarm begins.

Good luck with the super swarm.

Are you going to be posting these as you work on them? In about 3-weeks I aim to get a very large order to finish my apocalypse Tyranids, and it would be interesting to see someone else posting a similar topic.

Looking forward to seeing your super swarm 8)

Re: Malanthrope and Stone-Crusher Carnifex?

Can anyone tell me where I can buy these models? I have never seen any of them online. Forge World is the place to go for these things, but just be aware that some of the models there are extremely costly! If you don’t have a large budget, you could always try converting others models or even scrat...

Re: Malanthrope and Stone-Crusher Carnifex?

So basically were saying that adding the Stone-Crusher claws or the Wrecking-Mace onto a Carnifex really isn’t worth it?

Ok thanks, looks like I will just use the RAM carapace bits for the awesome looks and not get the claws\mace. If anyone else has views to add, please feel free to do so.

Re: stone crusher carnifex

Nice,

I’m looking at getting a few of these types of Carnifexs’ myself, but cant decided if just to get the RAM carapace or go for the crusher claws as well.

The light blue on the body gives him a very nice ice look, good job :)

Re: Lewis's Trygon.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone! 8) Another FW Model.. Got more? I'd love to see them, I love everything what has to do with FW (in total models, no brazenbrass or shoulderpads etc). Great job, Maybe post some pics of the completed army in the miniature painting section? Yes I do have a g...

Re: Malanthrope and Stone-Crusher Carnifex?

The Malanthrope is actually nothing like the Zoanthrope, more like a Hive Tyrant actually. It's a rather quick model (normal movement + fleet) with good close combat stats, Feeder Tendrils, synapse, warp field and the horror. The Stone Crusher on the other hand is not very good. It is just a poorly...

Malanthrope and Stone-Crusher Carnifex?

Hi there, I was given a lot of great help with my Hierophant here, so I’m back with another question that hopefully some of you can help with. In about two weeks time I’m looking at placing an order for a somewhat massive amount of Tyranids, to finish off mine and my brothers Apocalypse army with. N...

Re: Lewis's Hierophant.

That's a truly massive character, since it would not be fair to call this a mini 8). Though it's massive, you did a very good job on it. Thanks :) I think he has been snacking on to many Space Marines, and it’s made him a little on the ‘oversized-mini’ scale. Give him time to let the food\SM’s go d...

Re: Lewis's Trygon.

I too think this is a great miniature! I was going to do a scheme like this, but then I changed to the Behemoth scheme! And are you planning on making a base for him? http://image-cache.wargamerau.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/armata_PDT_36.gif Thanks :) No, I find the Trygon fully supports its...

Lewis's Hierophant.

I’m at the end of finishing off my Tyranid army, and what Tyranid force would be complete without a Hierophant... so here he is 8) http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/1278/hieroname.gif I joined these forums not to long ago to ask for advice on making a base for this beastie, to which I received a lo...

Lewis's Trygon.

I’ve never entered something like this before, but after having some good feedback with a model I recently posted asking for advice, I thought why not give it a go! I’m not the best at taking pictures though, so fingers crossed that they do the job :? Here we have one of my several Forge W...

Re: Help with a Hierophant! :D (pics added)

I really didn't read what other people said... On a little bit of a time line here ;) I love the skin, it is incredible... the Purple might look a little flat at this point though... especially with the beautiful skin. I also think the red line in the carapace is a little stark... I would personall...

Re: Help with a Hierophant! :D (pics added)

what type of magnets did you use for the Hierophant? There isn’t any magnetizing on him, as the magnets alone are not enough to support the weight and pinning\reinforcing is a much better option for a Hierophant. There is no option for different limbs\weapons for him. I don’t think anyone would wan...
