I kinda want to bring a baneblade (or any of the IG super heavies for that matter) to scare my friends when playing,,, but those are expensive af!

Can only take 2 HQ's with Spearhead, And then 3x squads (or single tanks) of grunt's. And as far as i can see each HQ can only order one tank to get the reroll 1's (unless you take Pask, He gets to give 2 orders)

I've been toying with my armies above 2500pt's to have IG support in the form of Spearhead detatchment (Pask, and 3+ leman russ's of various types) the entire formation is somewhere around 770+ points with just pask + 3 tanks with everyone having HB sponsoons. Been thinking about changing some of the units. Like all terminators, 1 unit of the interseccors and maybe some plamsa / deeptstrike units for Black Templars that will be dedicated for deep strike, for the reroll charge. Would still take Termi captain and hammer nators, but would need to fill 2 elit...

Pretty much the only armies around me that i know off are Orks, Tyranids and Tau (pretty much just few guys ive known for 10+ years that kinda want to start again. I know the Ork and tyranid players are worried about hammer-nators, But none of them have played table top in years... And i tend to go ...

About 50% of the reason i want the heavy thunder hammer (2h) is for looks, and 30% for extra damage and rest is probably because i cant get it :P Perhaps i just get a captain with heavy thunderhammer but use it as the 1h thunder hammer.
