Re: Blademeister's WIP (Pic heavy) Updated 16/02/2015

Hey guys! Haven't updated in a very very long time! Recently got back into the painting mood! Been working on my dark angels chapter! Disciples of the Lion. Here's What I got painted, in the last few weeks! Pretty basic, just tabletop level, but I'm happy with em. http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/...

$40 for the battle box, It lets you play some small games. It's cheaper than 40k that's for sure.

Re: Gamesworkshop killed Wargamming

You should try warmachine, I think it's quite reasonably priced, and a much more balanced game.

Re: Best Glues

I use tamiya plastic glue which I find really good, it's pretty much a liquid, and you just brush it on. For super glue, I use Loc-Tite Super glue.

Re: necrons vs eldar..... HELP MEEE

IMO doomsday arks are a very poor unit. I've never seen one make their points back. Annihilation barges on the other hand are a great unit. For the points it is a bargain. I never leave home without them. Doom scythes are great as well. As it has been stated spread the objectives out over the board....

Re: Power Armor or Xenos next?

I haven't been following the rumours too closely, but I have a good feeling that Tau are going to be next, than it's probably going to be a MEQ army (Vanilla Marines?), and then I would think Eldar!

Re: Carrying case.

battlefoam is where it's at. I would highly recommend it. The foam is customisable, so you can fit pretty much anything in no problem.

Re: army list

Against a trigon I just throw a squad of warriors at him with a Lord with Mindshackle scarab. Watching a trigon kill itself is glorious.

Re: How good are Crypteks?

I only have 2 in 1750, but I don't see why 5 would be bad. They have alot of neat things. I really love the template attack that goes against leadership, and the haywire spell is amazing.

Re: Res Orbs

That's actually a good point, I've never even thought of using warriors in such small groups lol. I guess you'd use them for camping an objective or in nightscythes. I just feel like if I was going with smaller squads I would go Immortals.

Doom Scythes and night Scythes can't hover as they have the special rule supersonic.

Re: Blood Angel noob

Just fine, they're pretty tricky to take down, and deliver 2 deathstar units straight into the heart of the enemy army! Most people are really intimidated when they hear whats inside of them lol, they also take alot of heat off my tactical squads chilling on the objectives.
