Re: Krylon Gloss Coat Problems

Yeah, I shook the can thoroughly at least 2 minutes like the directions say. I think I only bought the can maybe a month ago, but who knows how long it sat on the shell at the store.

Krylon Gloss Coat Problems

Hey everyone. I was sealing some scarab swarms with Krylon Gloss Coat when I noticed that the painted started to wrinkle and bubble up. I now have seven ruined scarab swarms that need repainting. This is the first time this has happened to me. I've used the same can of Krylon Gloss Coat to seal othe...

Cygnar Faction Deck Cards

Hello everyone. I'm getting back into Warmachine and I'm picking up the Mark II rules and army book. One of my buddies bought me a Mark II Cygnar Faction deck so I would have the updated cards. However, the cards don't look like what I've seen online for Mark II and the points costs for the models i...

Re: hello!!

I'd go with the gears since you are new to the game you might not want to have additional war gear until you know what equipment can go with what gears and the stats of the weapons in the game.

Re: hello!!

I'd say go for the Interpolar War starter. The beginner set is a great way to introduce the game to your friends and get them involved.

Re: Heavy Gear Blitz?

For starting out with Heavy Gear Blitz I suggest picking up one of the starter boxes. They are around $100 US and will give you 9 to 10 miniatures, depending upon the starter, the rulebook, and a tape measure. The rulebook contains the army lists for the North, South, Port Arthur Korps/Colonial Expe...

Re: on the edge of warhammer and heavy gear blitz

I did find this article awhile back about magnetizing Heavy Gear: http://firebroadside.blogspot.com/2009/12/magnetizing-mecha-how-to.html Heavy Gear is like 40k in which each unit has various war gear available to it. However, using this war gear will increase the TV(Threat Value) of the squad. Also...

Re: on the edge of warhammer and heavy gear blitz

The rulebook contains all the information for the North, South, Peace River,Port Arthur Korps, and the Leagueless. If you would like to play the armies of Caprice, Utopia, Eden, or Black Talon you would have to purchase the supplement book that contains that army. As for your original questions: 1. ...

Heavy Gear Painting Tutorials?

I was just wondering if there was any good painting tutorials out there for Heavy Gear? I took a search on the DP9 site and couldn't discover anything. I also have the Heavy Gear rule book which does have a painting tutorial in it, but I have the black and white version of the book so it's kind of h...

DIY Dropship

Hello everyone. I was surfing the interwebs and found this set of instructions on how to build a dropship out of foam core. I thought it was pretty neat and could be used for a stand in for a Space Marine Thunderhawk or used for a variety of Mech games like CAV, Battletech, and Heavy Gear. Here's th...

Re: Airbrush help : (

With a lot of airbrushes in order to remove the needle, you need to first remove the lock nut, push down on the trigger, and then pull the needle out.

Berzerker Backpacks

Hello everyone. I just bought a pack of Khorne berzerkers and the backpacks don't seem to fit right. They also don't seem to match up with the picture on the box so I don't know what's up with them. I like them though and have found that if you cut the mounting nub on the back of the power armor in ...
