Nothing in the beacon’s rules says that the model has to be on the table at the start of my turn.

How would I contact the GW team?

Also, speaking of that tome...
Can vehicles gain the benefit from it?

Deathwatch relic question

With the relic “beacon angelis” it says that at the end of my movement phase, I can teleport a unit from anywhere on the table, or in reserves so that they are within 6” of the bearer.

My question is this: can I have my character with the beacon deep strike, then use the relic in the same turn?

Advice for a new deathwatch player.

I’m going to be starting a deathwatch army very soon, and I was hoping to get some pointers on things I should or shouldn’t take, and some general tips for tactics and army builds.

I still play grey knights, because I have fun with the army.
Am I ever going to field them in a tournament? Probably not. They’re just not as competitive as other armies.


(Kinda sucks for me that my other army is Tau, they’re not that great either)

Voir’la is fast enough to get in close, and farsight enclaves wants to be close too.

I wonder what the tournament meta will look like.

I retract my statement about mortal wounds.
Sun shark bombers are actually very good at dealing mortal wounds.

I can kinda get your argument for only having a 4+ to hit, but I still feel that, as a purely shooter army, we should be a bit more reliable in our shooting phase.

I forgot to mention a few things that I feel we needed.
1) no reliable way to inflict mortal wounds.
2) no way to deal with psykers
3) I feel like battle suits should have been BS 3+ especially with all the negative hit modifiers.(an alternative could be a stacking +to hit modifier from markerlights)

I was wondering what everyone’s opinions were of the new Tau codex. I think that’s it’s a big step up from the index. Thinking of starting a space marine army.

Any tips on building a space marine army?
I have grey knights already, and I know their transports are the same (mostly).
Also, I’m wanting to run sternguard. Are they viable, or should I use interccesors instead?

I’m not sure how I feel about this army. The models are cool, I guess. But I really think that GW should have given the existing xenos armies codexes, before releasing yet another space marine variant.
