Re: Help with a color scheme

Thanks for advice. I asked because I thought I lost all my paints and couldn't do any testing on my own. Also because I am bad at painting(As I said above) Fortunately, I found a few pots of paint that are still good and Enchanted Blue is perfect for that look. I tested it on a guardsman's arm holdi...

Help with a color scheme

Hi all, I took a break from wargaming for nearly a year but I'm back and I want to restart my Imperial Guard Footsoldier list. I've always had a lot of trouble with painting cloth, though, so I'm going to need some help with both technique and the type of paint to use. My first question is how would...

Re: TheHammerCast –WHF 8th Edition Rulebook Unleashed

I think it will be more GunlineHammer.

Premeasuring will make all artillery so much more accurate and I think most dwarf players are going to have as many Cannons as they can get their hands on.

Mortars and Stone Throwers will probably be seen in more lists as well.

Re: Black Gobbo Magazine?

It only ran for a few years and I don't know if there is any archive.

GW doesn't like to leave any old material around. They seem to try to cover up everything that isn't in print currently.

Re: 8th ed bloodier?

But now you only have one unit. Yeah but in a 2000 point game where before you had two 150 point units now you'll have one 300 point unit. Still the same amount of points, still no extra room in the list to fit more units. You also have to consider filling the Force Org. out. Rumors are that it is ...

I said no because It just sounds so cheesy and ridiculous.

You do have to remember, though, that we're dealing with Warhammer and Gamesworkshop and so nothing really has to make sense.

Re: the battle for skull pass is over you can all go home

I heard someone mention Empire and O&G, but I think the prevailing rumor is that it will be High Elves and Skaven, which I am a bit annoyed at. Usually both sides get one big thing, two leaders and an assortment of core troops. I don't really know what the High Elves will be able to get, though. A M...

Re: Incoming Daemons

Wrong sir! My first avatar since joining was Spike. Lies, you evil, untrustworthy, Umbrella Corp. employee... And where's my Warlock on Jetbike? Plastic Wraithguard? Thunderhawk? Haha. Someone called it before me. And yeah! There are so many kits that I wish GW would produce. I wonder how they go a...

Re: Incoming Daemons

I think this just reaffirms our guesses that the Inquisition is next. Why else would they put off the second wave of Daemons for over a year? GW seems to like putting off second waves of models until they have a companion for the models. Like Spearhead. They just now within the last two months relea...

Re: Arnor

Cool. Thanks for the responses. I really want to play but I donr know what kind of playing scene is around here. I dont really want to buy the Mines of Moria, though, so I think I might buy the rulebook and some models that interest me on both sides. Probably Easterlings and Riders of Rohan. Are the...

Arnor

Hey everyone. I've recently started looking at the LoTR SBG site on GW's website and It looks really interesting. At first I was really into the idea of playing Rohan (And still am), but after looking for a little while at other Armies I saw the Arnor models and I thought that they looked so amazing...

Re: sangiunary guard

Just because you killed so much, doesn't mean they are worth it. If you calculated the amount of points that unit killed, It would some nowhere near as much as the 610 points you paid for it. plus, when they get hit by something too hard to crack first turn, they are going to get munched, because t...

Re: "Dread Hound" - Elite walker Home brew rules

I think you might take that bit about hardened veterans being the only ones to drive them out, since they have the same BS as a conscript.

I love the idea, but I am a Guard player, so I will always like to get better weapons.
