Re: General Discussionn/Player Feedback

I suppose this is a good a place as any to leave my final goodbye to the Forum This forum helped me develop my love for the narrative side of 40k, writing my own stories in the current fluff, interacting with others that have put just as much effort and love into their own armies. Without this forum...

Re: Only the dead will see the end - RP narrative, season 2.

Renanitus listened for the movement of the two lords, calculating the best moment to strike, he knew he would have to eliminate the sorcerer first, not only was he much weaker then his terminator counterpart but if allowed to recover the his talents would limit the captains options. Quickly checking...

Re: Grey Knights are you out there?

My main reason for not picking up the Grey Knights is purely from a narrative stand point due to them being so limited when it comes to making your own stories which is thing I have grown most attached to in this hobby. Even the Custodes have more wriggle room for homebrewing.

Re: General Discussionn/Player Feedback

Honestly if we are all being buried with work maybe we should just leave it till the end of April. Just so we aren't feeling pressured in to posting for the sake of posting.

Re: General Discussionn/Player Feedback

Sorry for not updating guys will be putting something this week, hopefully tomorrow. As for the penal colony the main problem is that their is no real reason to head out that way for the Helios Guard and Iron Wardens while ferros alpha is under attack. One planet of prisinors is not worth possible l...

Re: Should Primaris Intercessors have Special Weapons?

Still waiting for dedicated melee primaris troops option,,,,, You mean Rievers? Rievers are more of a bully unit. Built to take out ranged squads with their Shock Grenades to stop overwatch and the Grav-chutes and grappling hooks help them dig squads out of buildings and allowing you to harass weak...

Re: Returning newbie player

SO: 40k is now a DOTA-esque Hero based strategy game, where the fluff is made up and the points don't matter!!! Just kidding, sorta. Almost every race has a named hero type character that acts as a force multiplier for unit effectiveness. Everything from literal gods, to angels, to really strong hu...

Re: Only the dead will see the end - RP narrative, season 2.

Ferrous Alpha [/b] Renantinus brought his sword Final Achievement to meet the cursed staff. One of the advantages of his origins of training with the other Unnumbered Sons prior to joining the Wardens was the better training in single combat that the Wardens overlooked, with the insight gained from...

Re: Only the dead will see the end - RP narrative, season 2.

Ferrous-Alpha [/b] The Wardens had identified the Governors palace as the most defensible location on the planet and Varath had set the pod landing sites around the immediate area to keep back the tide of traitors the 13th taking the lead in this fight. The companies expertise in close quarters had...

Re: Only the dead will see the end - RP narrative, season 2.

Iso [/b] Mallis had watched as the eldritch storm knocked out the engines of the first wave of transports, sending them back to the surface leaving the marines stranded. Acting with all the professionalism and efficiency expected of an Iron Warden the lieutenant had left the holding action in the c...

Re: General Discussionn/Player Feedback

The 13th are being used as a proof of concept. They are being fielded alone to see whether the Primaris will be worth the additional time and resources needed to create them. The Wardens home world is on the wrong side of the eye of terror to receive regular resupply from Terra or Mars so these new ...

Re: General Discussionn/Player Feedback

Apologies for taking so long to respond, but wanted to make sure that I was well informed before posting what my chapter would do if confronted by the custodians. After looking at the actual quote (a custodian Emissary addressing the Hammers of Dorn) the message seams to be "shut up and stop asking ...
