D6 Game: You're a Dreadnought on its Last Hull Point.

You're surrounded by heretic scum, you've got your back to a wall, they're firing everything they have at you with full intent to bring you down. Little do they know, you've got a super-secret item in your Dread Pocket, and you've been saving it for this situation. (That is, assuming it's useful) Ro...

Re: Alternate Sisters: Worth buying?

I can't emphasize how much you'll want to take your time with a Sisters army. If you're going to play them, know your meta, and adjust your lists to your playstyle (Or play with a fluffy list. But, you'll be at a disadvantage from the get-go, primarily because of their points inefficiency, and their...

Re: Using C:SM for AS or the dreaded female power armor.

No one should stop you from customizing your plastic/metal models in whatever way you want. So long as you make it clear to your opponent before the game begins what some models are if things are a bit vague, you should be able to do whatever you wish. If you're going to make an AS army by using the...

What's the scariest unit in your army, and why?

So, out of my twelve losses in a row as Sisters, I feel I've learned a lot from the basic fundamentals of 7th, and made enough mistakes to learn from at least one of them: "Hey man. I'm glad to see you're finally using your Rhino's storm bolters". "Thanks!" "I'm glad you always forget about their fi...

Re: what to get next for daemons.

Hmmm, so to deal with heavier enemies, a soul grinder is the way to go then Correct. However, if you're going to field them, you NEED to take your meta into account. Soul Grinders are THE Chaos Daemons unit that cover any bases you're missing. But with that said, a Soul Grinder that isn't equipped ...

Re: what to get next for daemons.

I'm a very aggressive player, getting things into the frontlines as quickly as possible. As such, for anti-tank and general awesomeness, I've always stood by my Soul Grinders. As they come stock, they're already a pain to deal with. Daemonic Resilience allowing them to get into punching range easier...

Re: Chaos Termies

Have you thought about giving your Terminator squad a pair of Lightning Claws each and the Mark of Slaanesh (With the Icon of Excess if you want)? This allows them to shred through any MSU with ease, and shrug off pretty much anything unless your opponent dedicates some heavy firepower on them.

Where are all the cats in 40k? [Lore Spoilers, kinda]

We've got flesh hounds, Space Wolves, Fenrisian wolves, we've got Rhinos, Razorbacks, Forge/Maulerfiends, we've got tanks named after fish, angry water flow, snakes, ghosts, dragons, etc. And yet, we've got like, next to no cat references. Like, we've got Lion El'Jonson, who's been chilling under a ...

Thinking about making a Daemon flying circus.

I just watched Pacific Rim recently and the newest Godzilla, and I've got giant creature fever right now. I've got a bunch of daemon princes and greater daemons lying around, but I'm not too sure as to how it should run in 7th. I don't really care too much for efficiency, as I'm way more interested ...

Re: Your Chosen God of Chaos

I can't take Khorne seriously. I feel like he's just angry because of all the Corn jokes he hears, and just wants to kill people because of it. All Nurgle does is fart on my food when I've left it for too long. I don't get why he's supposed to be cool. When I think of Tzeentch, I can only think of A...

Anywhere to play in Toronto?

I recently got an Infinity army, but noticed there's nowhere to play in Toronto. Are there any groups around that are playing it, or any places in the Toronto, Ontario area that host this game?

2D6 Game: The object to your left is your shield. The object to your right is your sword.

You're in an open field with a few sandbags for cover. Roll 2D6 and add the result. You are now in a duel with: 2 - The Emperor of Mankind 3 - A lone Canoptek Spider 4 - Marneus Calgar in Terminator Armour 5 - Yarrick 6 - Kaldor Draigo 7 - A Wraithknight (No weapons. Just stomp attacks) 8 - Khorne 9...

Re: How do you get your Fluff Bunny on?

I run around with a chainsaw that I wield as a sword, put on a hockey helmet and pretend I'm a Khorne Berserker. However, right when I'm about to land the final blow, I just say it's a prank, point at the camera, and we all laugh, have a beer and pretend everything's good. I've even done it to some ...

Re: Khorn and the guys in Red

Unless you're running KDK, most themed armies generally have some trouble going up against the bigger, competitive armies. You'll come across a lot of people who despise the CSM codex, stating it's not very competitive and it's an uphill struggling for victory. And if you're intending to play Thousa...

Officio Assassinorum - What's the general consensus?

I've heard that assassins are pretty broad with their usage, and wouldn't mind including one or two into my lists to cover some of the bases that my army is lacking, but I don't know anything about them. I've yet to purchase the dataslate for them, I've never fielded them before, and I don't know ho...
