Re: May 2015 Big Brawl: "Heavy Hitters"

Any way I could get in on this? Need some motivation to get some Cyriss painted up.

Convergence of Cyriss

So I played my first game with CoC last night, against a new Circle player, and I gotta say, I absolutely love them. The Mitigator's razor bola, an aoe 3 pow - knockdown machine, was absolutely brutal for forcing my opponent to spread his forces out, and heavily punishing him if he didn't. The Galva...

Re: Epic Duck Mike's #theweeklypaint 2015

I got into Wargaming as a kid. My dad always played, so I was exposed toot at a young age. I think I inherited my first minis when I was about 11ish. Catachan guard. Still have em, though they hardly ever get used. Paint is just too ugly for me now, and I haven't gotten around to fixing them.

Re: drsergenpainting 2015 thread.

I really don't like the plastic that PP uses, though by far the worst part for me is how they package their plastic models pre-cut. It's always such a chore to try and salvage the shoddy cut work.

I started 2008ish. At least, for painting. Did HeroClix for a long time before that.

She did, simply smeared some plaster on them.
I must say though, I severely underestimated how difficult it would actually be to assemble the CoC models. So many little fiddly pieces.

Re: Mutton's #weeklypaint2015

So I caved today. I went out and picked myself up a little over 25 points worth of Convergence of Cyriss. Figured that finishing my Cygnar was reason enough to treat myself.

Love that font you used for Goldtoofs. Reminds me of the font Goldfinger uses for their album covers.

A week late, but I finally finished Nemo off. Now, I pledge to paint up my Black 13th, so I don't feel bad buying some Convergence in a few weeks.

Apparently she wasn't quite done yet, and she has since gone and improved the base.

Re: Mutton's #weeklypaint2015

Haven't really gotten much of anything done at all lately, life's been getting in the way. However, my 11 year old sister decided she wanted to try and make some terrain, and made a winter forest. This is what she came up with. http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/y338/Muttonstashe/Warhammer/8AB9504E...

Re: Epic Duck Mike's #theweeklypaint 2015

Ah, CoH was such a great game, what little I played of it anyway. I played a Blaster, who used electricity coming from an Ironman-esque suit. Those were the days. Also played a lot of Ultima, Everquest and Guild Wars. I grew up on MMO's, which seems weird to me, as I don't really play them that much...
