@Scull: Actually, you can measure from your warcaster to see if anything is in/out of your control range at ANY TIME! it's in the rulebooks last i checked.

Either everyone at MWG are giants, ore they keep getting challenged by halflings, because they always seem to tower one head above everyone.

@wasteland-warrior: The warcaster givesyou points, that you can spend for getting 'jacks. So it is 6+7 4-6=11 points for Stryker and his battlegroup. Add the 6 points for a minimal size long gunner unit and you have Dan's 17 points.

@PunishedOne: best reason to pay attention in math yet! xD

ah i see, Dan used the wj to take the lancer for free and then added the min of the long gunners for the same price. HA i'm learning thanks for making me learn Dan

i may be new to warmachine as well but i too am collecting Cygnar, correct me if i'm wrong but isnt the starter box for Cygnar 17 points alone. Stryker wj +6, Charger pc 4, ironclad pc 7, lancer pc 6. 6 7 4=17 and casters do not have a cost but lower the cost of a warjack right, or can they lower the cost of any unit?

@tavaritj: I've use Pyathagorean's Theorem a bit too much in game to calculate charge ranges XD
RoberttheWise (Over a year ago): - delete
Yeah, the Golden Rule of Warmachine. You may measure your controll area at any time.
Usual turn:
1. Replenish focus
2. Measure controll area
3. Allocate focus
4. Measure controll area
5. Move first model
6. Measure controll area
etc.^^

@Craaag & Scull: To clarify, with triangulation, youll get a good estimate to the range between two models within your control area. Just because you cant put the ruler ontop of the other model, doesnt mean you cant calculate. xD
Scull (Over a year ago): - delete
@Frozt: Of course u can measure if models r in or out of control. I meant measuring BETWEEN models in your control, e.g. u can't just measure if your paingiver is in 3" of titan to give him enrage (except when u declare it).

I also started a Cygnar army great to see a battle report with them from you guys.

@PunishedOne: The yellow was for location of damage allocation. Its speeds things up to roll +1 off coloured die.
PunishedOne (Over a year ago): - delete
Why was there 4d6 being rolled for the Charger's damage rolls? Did the yellow die signify anything?
Nonperson (Over a year ago): - delete
Those Cygnar are looking good, I really like the color scheme.

My Trollblood brother you must fight hard!

@tavaritj: actually u can't measure between models in your control, where u got that idea from?
Great batrep, w8ing for more WarmaHordes!
Fionnvar (Over a year ago): - delete
The Trolls look great
Craaag (Over a year ago): - delete
Well you can measure between models from the warcaster outwards anyways. Not sure if that's what you meant? You just can't randomly measure between models though.
tavaritj (Over a year ago): - delete
Oh, and a small hint: youre allowed to measure your control area whenever you want, and also between models in your control area. Should make it easier to gauge if youre in range or not and avoid wasting shots!

Fury, not rage. GO CYGNAR!
