I've just watched all 4 parts of this Battle Report.
It was very well done and I really enjoyed it.
You had bad luck with that Whirlwind, I hate them, they usually wipe out all my Ork Boyz.

yes ofc post a 2nd batrep. though some stuff was wrong (understandable) you had a much better battle report then most. out of 10 i give you a 7. most batreps out there i only give around 5. you were clear, you segmented the turns into 1 vid a turn, you showed dice, you were nice, i could understand you, the music was good, though i think you need to stick to just one tune. it will be hard to find a 10 minute one but i think it will be well worth it...generally a very good battle report. Oh and kudos on using old models. ever since i turned 20 i cant help but think old school is so much cooler then the stuff coming out now...just something about it...

ceck the deepstrike rules anyway because from the it looked like you deepstriked almost in base contact but you can not deepstrike on top or withing 2"of the enemy. if it does happen your whole unit is whiped out.

Overall it was very entertaining to watch and you should do more batreps, not only to learn the rules but also to have tons of fun!

First off, thank you to all those who watched our first recorded battle. We are still new to the game (I am just returning) and will admit that we are inexperienced. Without some kind of referee or veteran, we had to make some educated guesses as to some of the rules/results. With time, and tips from fellow players like yourself, we will improve and provide better games for you to watch without having to pick apart our mistakes.

My marines sucked horribly. I still stand that my dice are possessed by Chaos and that's why they couldn't hit the broad side of a Titan. The Ultramarines are now spending more time at the shooting range to prevent this embarrassment from happening again.

I admit that I was confused as to the Deep Strike Rule in thinking that I couldn't do anything after dropping in. I'll be sure not to make that mistake again.

DarkPwner- I saw the Company Standard rule on p.55 of the SM Codex under Command Squad. It stated that any unit in 12" can reroll failed morale/pinning tests. In my haste in flipping through the book, I failed to realize that it wasn't listed in the wargear for Tactical squads. So no, I shouldn't have been able to reroll that.
Power weapons had always confused me a bit. Hence why I don't field Terminators all that often. Thanks for the clarification.

We hope that you enjoyed our video, as rough as it is. My hope is that if we produce a second, it will be more worthy of our fellow players.

ok so first off, certainly a good game, considering your both new. Again a few mistakes...but again all pretty obscure.
1) You indeed shoot after deepstriking, but you cannot move (inless you decide to run) or assault unless codex says otherwise.
2) What are these standard bearers. as far as im aware this is not an option in the latest SM codex. are you using an older one?
3) Power fist are double your strength and strike at I1 ignoring armoure save "like power weapons".
4) the dreadnought close combat weapons are basically the same as power fists but they still strike at normal I value.

All in all a very nice battle report. keep them coming. My simple advice for your next game is just to do a skim of the codex again at some of these obscure rules.

Guess they thought you can't shoot on the turn you deep strike in. Simple mistake.
