man I wish I would of gotten one of those blue Ultra shirts when I won that caption contest on THQ's Space Marine Face Book. Anyway, I've lost a bit over 100lbs but not recently just over the last year of course, using P90X and Shakeology. WhooO!!

i decided to lose weight after i sprained my ankle a year ago and i was 255(EEEEP) so as soon as i could i started using my schools weight room eating less over indulgent proportions cut out a lot of stuff(salt, sugar and milk in coffee) and walking/riding a bike to work and from and went down a couple pant sizes granted this was nearly half a year before i really decided to get in to wargaming but its feels good ive also noticed it in my facial structure and to my knowledge ive lost over 30+lbs since last year and i feel good about it im still afraid to step on a scale as it may say otherwise i pray not

I know it is a little late from this challenge, but it is awesome that you guys want to lose weight and did a great job. Just in case you want to try the challenge again I am a personal trainer and wargamer, I am from Calgary but I do make meal plans and exercise plans for people that are not in my area. The next time you guys want to do the challenge I can help

Good job guys, I too am doing a weight loss challenge against a friend to lose 30lbs.

So far I've lost 27.4lbs so I have another 2.6lbs to go, and it ends on Sept 21st.

What's weird is that you guys started on the same day as us - May 24th.

Do you guys read my Blog? It's so weird that we both started a 30lbs weight loss competition on the same day. (Cue Twilight Zone music.)

Matt, one thing to keep in mind too is that you started at a lower weight, so it's a bit harder for you to lose the weight the closer you get to your ideal weight.

Anyway, good job guys!

Well done Dave and Matt. Nice one on losing the weight. I'm on a slimming mission as well but have many more lbs and stones to lose. Matt please do the Walk and Talk again. I loved listening to them at work and Dave what's happened to the Blood Angels? Keep up the super vids.

I lost 75lbs in 6 days, but I was in the hospital and was give high lvls of water pills(shots in the belly) cause I was dieing in my sleep and my heart couldn't get rid of extra fluid in my body. CHF sucks, for all those who have it, u know what I mean. :~(

For every pound lost, 4lbs of pressure r taken off ur knees. Makes a world of difference. :~)

One big thing that's important about weight loss is sleep. Sounds crazy but sleeping at least 7 hours a night with a regular cycle will allow the body to relax more, and during sleep the body breaks down excess fat. Too much is bad for you, but you need enough sleep.
