Eldar Wraithlord Tactica

The Eldar Wraithlord is one of the most formidible units in the Eldar players arsenal.

The Wraithlord begins as a quite hefty price of 90 points. This comes with WS4, BS4, S10, T8, W3, I4, 2 A, LD10, SV3+, & 2 shuriken catupults, 2 flamers, or one of each. Thats not bad. Then you can by him a Wraithsword (reroll missed to hits in CC(Close Combat), also Missile Launcher, Scatter Laser, Star Cannon, Bright Lance, or shuriken cannon. You can get him a combination of ever weapon or 2 of one type of gun. I run him with two flamers, Wraithsword, and Missile Launcher.

On the board I use him with my Farseer due to Wraithsight(his largest downside except the cost). As I walk him forward I fire the Missile Launcher (48 inch range). When I get in flamer distance I fire my flamers. I then get into close combat in which he's a beast.

Yeah, i run alot of Missiles in my list,
AP4 Pinning makes me LOL.

Im wondering though, Do you actually attatch your Farseer to the wraithlord?
Cuz though a Fortune-Guided Wraithlord would be pretty cool. But all that damn AT fire coming at it would be split 50/50 with your farseer. and since he doesnt have Eternal warrior and just toughness 3 (GROAN) he might get Gibbed.

Hm. when I get a Warlock I'll use him as a shield for my firedragons. He will fire his flamers and the Firedragons their meltas, and then he charges whith the Warlock who psykes 'em tho hell!!!

good but fit them with starcannons or brightlances or with starcannons and brightlance kill space marines easy

i use my wraithlord to be anti infantry and use my waveserpent to take out tanks.
my config for my wraithlord is scatterlaser, (4 shots s 6 ap 6) now i know wat your saying thats crap ap but you pump enough shots that it doesnt matter. then a shurican cannon for the same resons than the scatterlaser

it is better to use it like warwalkers .keep it away from the enemy and give 2 long range weapons .also it can be very good for destroying vehicles (with lances or EML)the sword isn't that useful becasause he is a monster and he can do alot without tha sword and he moves only 6 .i use it like warwalker ,it has better bs 3 wounds(like 3 walkers) toughtes 8 but can fire only 2 heavy weapons (squad of walkers fire 6 )

I do something sorta similar. i play eldar, about a 1000 point army so far. I like to just completly load him up with double flamers, bright lance, and starcannon. its like 160 points but its great fire support expecially with the low AP against terminators, and great at taking out tanks too. its a lot of points, but i find it worth it.

my friend rapes my imp guard tanks with a bright lance on his wraithlord, it treats all armor over 12 as 12. gay as hell lol (for me)
