The Imperial assasin sneak-peek
13 years in the future of Luke
Luke sat sipping a cool Kelbatros flavoured drink from the plain white cup. He was in the massive mall on the planet Katron, A large shopping planet just off the Haldreya galaxy. But Luke wasn’t here to shop; he was here to assassinate one of the biggest crime lords in the solar system. No one suspected that concealed in his coat was a lethal array of the Imperiums top weaponry. He stood watching the changing crowds with searching eyes. Then he saw him.
Tefak Selis was a name that every small town crook knew. The highest ranked criminals feared it and no one, NO ONE tried to mess with him. Tefak was one of the most sinister of the Dark Eldar and always was accompanied by six guards all in black suits with hi tech watches on their left wrists. Tefak himself was wearing black leather all over. He had on his belt two blades, a whip and a strange blaster with a glowing purple cartridge. Luke put down his empty cup, dropped some change and walked out of the shop before seeming to merge into the shadows.
Luke watched Tefak carry on walking to a great metal door, placing his hand onto a handprint sensor and the great door opened. Tefak walked in with four guards and left two by the entrance. Luke watched carefully as Tefak gave a chip was given two one of the guards before entering the door and shutting the door behind him. Luke decided the best way to get there and successfully eliminate the guards quickly and quietly was from above. Above the guards the balcony was being re-wired and Luke judged the best way to kill the guards was to take them out from the hole in the balcony. Luke quickly and stealthily went up the stairs, to the hole. He slipped from out of his jacket a dart gun, one that put the target to sleep for an hour and wiped their memory of the event clear. Luke took the small pistol from his jacket and shot the two alien workers. Luke moved to a position where he was above the two guards and silently took an electric whip with two lashes out of his coat. Luke cracked his whip down on both of the guards at the same time, brought them up and slit their throats. Luke removed the chip from a small black case that the guard had placed it in and dropped down from the ceiling. Luke placed the chip in a small device that was strapped on the door and waited till it opened. Whilst he was waiting Luke took a pair of combat knives from his belt and held them in a fighting stance, ready for his foes that he imagined would hurtle out of the door. To his surprise nothing came out to fight him. The lights turned on in the room but nothing came. Luke still did not drop his position but crept forward his eyes scanning the room for any dangers but he found none.
Tefak watched from the multiple computer screens around the room his first pair of guards get killed quickly and efficiently by the assassin. He muttered to himself
“This is clearly an experienced assassin but still, he will die.”
He chuckled. This chuckle became a laugh and before long the entire room boomed with malicious laughter.
