All the low quality is why I dont use forgeworld models

Is it me or are tau freaky looking, their skinny little twigs that have heads that seem too big for them?

It sucks that forgeworld does these bad miscasts but you only have to shave down. When I got my Tyranid malenthrope they did not use enough resin and it was missing a whole piece of carapace and the tentacles from his face were one solid piece. I would have rather had extra resin that had to have re-sculpted the back end of it.

I would contact ForgeWorld about those burst cannons. that is the kind of quality that I would expect from armorcast or epicast back in the early days of 2nd edition, not from Forge World. That kind of craftmanship they should replace for free. I would hate to think that all of the parts that come out of that mold look like that, I hope it is a fluke.

Are you going to magnetize the escape pod, or is there a way for it to pop in and out easily?
LOXMYTH (Over a year ago): - delete
For the vent/pour part I think I would start off slowly working a razor knife around the perimeter of the piece needing to be removed. I know they are some large chunks but maybe try that.

@Todda As I've said, Hot Water wont fix a 1mm wide Mold Line. Sure I can bend them back to shape, but that doesn't fix the fact that they're very miscast.

epc job, btw while you were buildin this i destroyed a ork battle wagon with a vindicares sniper bullet!!!!! epic or what?
Todda (Over a year ago): - delete
Bent and warped pieces are not that uncommon FW kits. Hot water or a hair drier applied carefully can make them soft enough to bend back into the correct shape. Cold water sets them again quickly.

@Theking Unfortunately, hot water won't fix the 1mm wide mold line :/ I'm going ot try and bend them back into shape, or replace them (Burst Cannons from the Hammerhead are nearly the same size).
Theking (Over a year ago): - delete
I had the same problem with a Eldar Nightwing I got in. (refering to the burst cannons) You are able to bend them back into shape using hot water. Just soak the peace in hot water until you are able to bend it back into shape.
