OMG, you use exactly the same paint kob as me! (gryphonne spia for the flesh and asurman blue for the carapace?) Did you get your inspiration from the Beasts of War how to paint Tyranid warrior vid?

Well, an 8 megapixel camera should be able to make a perfect photo. Your photo setup in this case is a bit flawed and your lighting doesn't help.
Anyways.. is the paint still wet in the pictures or did you use gloss varnish ?
