@RootBeer: my friends are afraid of him, he can withstand anyting, but first: 20 stormboltershots with reroll to hit is kind of good. Lysander lived throug an assault of 30 boys after his squad was killed and didnt even got a single wound. last i played against a friend who plays necrons, he used a lordcounsil(that unit was 750 points in a 1500 points game only a HQ) ALL 10 of my terminators where dead in 1 turn of close combat. Lysander lived and the next turn he managed to survive in close combat without taking a single wound.

I think he is the most resiliant HQ in the spacemarine codex at this point.

@ebbo4life: LOL, I don't even own Pedro Kantor yet, I am hoping they release him in finecast, though they might of done that already, haven't had the money lately to buy new models.

Does Lysander work well for you? Just from reading he seems a bit lackluster compared to some of the other HQs. Vulkin is a monster

@RootBeer: I don`t have any problems with chapterbound HQ`s because I play a made up chapter.
The fun thing is that I also have Vulcan and Lysander (my friends don`t like it to see him on the table with 10 terminators).
A chaplain could be a good buy but I still have a lot to paint, like 1500 points from the hollidays.

@ebbo4life: Ah yes, shrike fits pretty well with assault squads, I didn't think of it because I play Crimson Fists. You should try a chaplain in an assault squad or an assault terminator squad sometime. You should like the results

Infiltrate is probably one of my favorite abilities. Fleet also synergizes quite well. I hope vanguard Vets are reworked in the next edition to be even remotely usable so guys like shrike can do even more damage.

Hey, thx for the tips,
I dont have a chaplain but I run them with Shrike.
Infiltrate for the whole squad if he joins them,
pretty good to get them close to a juicy target.
