This is an army list that has been raging in my head lately - a space marine army based on a master of the forge...

1 master of the forge w/conversion beamer -- accompanied by 2 servators with heavy boltguns (yes only 2)

TROOPS

1 space marine tactical squad w/ 10 models and 1 flamer and missile launcher

1 space marine tactical squad w/ 10 models and 1 flamer and missile launcher

both tac squads will arrive by drop pod behind enemy lines.

ELITES

3 dreadnaughts w/ twin-linked heavy boltgun and missile launcher

HEAVY SUPPORT

(thanks to the master of the forge, dreadnaughts can be taken as heavy support)

3 dreadnaughts w/ twin-linked heavy flamer and close combat weapon

the flamer dreadnaughts will arrive in drop pods behind enemy lines.

Personally, I find it fun to see you opponents face when your tac squads and 3 dreadnaughts appear behind them, with 3 dreadnaughts and 2 master of the forges with 2 heavy boltguns each (servitors) and conversion beamers on the other side, they are literally boxed in!

PS this is for annihilation, if it were objectives the tac squads would arrive on foot.

PSS my army has 2 master of the forges because they are twins, taken in at the same time by the space marines, both learned the mechanicus ways and are equal in absolutely all aspects.
