Today I'll be painting a carnifex. Lets start with the primering.
Part#1" />
Start by painting a coat of chaos black. feel free to use armory black spray-paint but It's been known to cover up fine details if not used right and I didn't want to risk a carnifex.

Next paint the ribcage blood red followed by an inconsistent coat of scab red.

Part#3" />
Now we're ready to paint the carapace. Begin with a basecoat of bubonic brown.

Part#4" />
Now aply a layer of dark angels green.

Part#5" />
Finnish it off with a drybrush of flat olive. For this step I just used Testors paint but youre welcome to search around (olive is olive no matter the brand)

Part#6" />
Paint sick sick green on all open joints and exposed muscle tissue. Keep in mind that when in doudt make it green.

Part#7" />
To apply grass flock, paint pva(Elmers) glue along the edges of the carapace.Then simply place the model in the grass flock.Note, its better to add too much gue than too little.

Part#8" />
Next paint the exoskeleton bestial brown.

Glue him together and youre carnifex is ready for battle. I'm gonna name him Wrexx. I hope you like him, cause if you don't something could be seriously hurt, and were not talking about the big guy's feelings. He,s been known to eat small children who called him sloppy.
