I would like to you try Epic Armageddon. The main problem with 28mm scale game and large armies is the table size is too small. You'd need a living room as game area to make it more reasonable as the area covered by models grows so much.

But any chance for a test of Epic: Armageddon by MWG crew?

You can't run and do special actions but there are certain actions you can do before running. As long as they are not a * action and are listed as "anytime during this model's activation" then that model can do that action and then run. Holy zealot's Greater Destiny comes to mind....I guess not really related to your game but it may come up in the future.

Really glad you did this video Matt even though there were only a few rule corrections. The strategies are awesome to hear as well.

I have only ever played warmachine and absolutely love it. I may try warhammer some day but I really enjoy the smaller skirmish games where small choices can change the game. Just an AWESOME system. I actually love a lot of the models too.

Keep all the videos coming. I love watching anything you guys out out

They're called a Mage Hunter Strike Force not archers, you may have been thinking of the Stormfall archers, those were the ones with the blasts.

mmm I've heard rumors that 6th Edition 40k will have the ability to play Apok games in lease time. Would love if they had a better rules for a skirmish game other then kill team (still love Kill Team though)

good Vid as always. I totally agree with your oppinion on Warmahordes. I play tabletopgames for nearly 15 years now. And for most of the time I was a real GW fanboy, nearly started working in one. But last year I started with Warmachine, thinking "Oh it can't be too bad lets give it a whirl" Here I was ready to hate this upstart game, and now i'm totally sold on it. It has so many advantages. In this year I played more Warmachine games than I ever played both warhammer games, thanks to the game size. Naturally I have lost quite a few games, but I never had the feeling that a certain combination is unfair, and lately that was the feeling I always had after a game from GW. So I'm sorry but Warmahordes is the better strategy game, and that's that for me.

And yet, its seems always way harder to predict how a battle goes from the view of a bystander because usually players still have a lot of special tactics and idea's in mind. Personally i love comparing it with chess. And with less units to fiddle with like Warhammer 40k its more enjoyable aswell imo. (Although im love the Warhammer 40k universe)

Got lots of novels and lots of video games about 40k, but i save the warmachine miniatures.
