I think the reason people keep mentioning that your boys should be killed when you wreck after moving flat out is that it says turn not phase in faq 1.4 and phase in 1.5.

Im pretty sure its not only fast skimmers that suffer from this rule, if you wreck by ramming a vehicle with a transport full of troops they would be removed as casualties also.

Dan, the way you do it is actually how it's done. Don't know why people roll cover saves for the result of the penetrating and glancing, but it's a popular mistake.
