Not sure if you brought this up in a previous rules you have missed or not, but I have seen in combats where the sanguinary priests are striking from the back, and having melee wounds applied to them in the clump, on page 50, independent characters in assault can only attack if they are in base to base combat, and can be picked out in melee combat.

@LucasWy: EXACTLY! IMO this goes for proxying too. It is not funny, it does not "highlight" parts of the army and doesn't make me want to buy stuff from you.

@danbokong: One comment can't really be used to determine my general attitude, so lets not mudsling. I think we can all agree that getting rules right > getting rules wrong. It adds to the fairness of the game, and when the games are fair, they are close, and when games are close, they are the most fun (to play and to watch). In my opinion it's not that hard to get the rules right. Matt only occasionally messes up in his Beat Matt Batreps and he doesn't make excuses like "Well so & so didn't call me on it, so all's fair." in the rules videos. I generally enjoy MWG's content, that's why I'm a vault member. These guys are internet personalities. They have thick enough skin to take a little criticism and hopefully improve their product. I actually like the rules videos because they force the guys to learn the rules better which will lead to better Batreps in the future. Kudos to the MWG guys for that.

you can equip a sergeant with krak and the rest of the unit can hit normally it would seem

FYI - Checking the GK Codex: the 4 Imperial Assasin have a 4+ INV save and a 6 Feel No Pain (why?) and the Vindicare weapon does have an AP = 1.

Personally I really like these vids since we are trying to play the game correctly and follow the rules. Most people in my club have the long term goal of actually going to an offical tournament on day.

@LucasWy: Let us also remember that we are playing a game to have fun. This website shows how fun the game can be with a friend or two and the threat of creamy pie in the face. They may get rules wrong but at least they take the time to explain that they got them wrong. They care enough about the community (which includes you might I add) to take the time out of their day to sit down, and read comments of people telling them they are wrong. Then they look up to see if they are wrong and report back if they are or not so that the community (and them) can learn.

If I remember my Imperial guard, one commander has a special order where the unit can shoot and run in the same shooting phase. correct me if I'm wrong though

oh come on... nobody knows every single rule in every single codex and rulebook.... I doubt even creators know and remember everything. I don�t care about your mistakes, I appreciate and really enjoy every batrep.

I agree with what other people are saying - I'd rather see a batrep instead of each "rules you get wrong" vid.

You can't cheat unless you purposely do it while aware of the truth: It's just a mistake. Same way being wrong about something isn't 'lying' because you're unaware of the truth

You misse the "" in "cheating"...it was use loosely and sure if you are really cheating then it sucks, but if you dont or forget then some slack is required. and is not "allowe" per say as more of a..."oh well sht happens!"

"If one player misunderstands a rule and are cheating, and the other player doesn't challenge it... then it's allowed" So it's not cheating unless you get caught? You're making battle reports for a money-generating website. Have a little pride and get the rules right for the game you're demonstrating. Things like AP 1 are worked into the cost of a model and the difference between a wrecked tank and an immobile tank is game changing. So if you're not going to take the time and follow the rules, you're basically just pushing models around going "pew pew" instead of actually playing a game.

@boofus: I will have to agree. I personally do not like these. No one seems to remember the most important rule, and videos to reply to comments of rule nazis just breeds divisions between all us wargamers. No one wins.

Plus if MWG wasn't making these, then we could all be partaking of more AWESOMENESS.

Just a note about the razorback. When a unit shoots at a unit it intends to charge but manages to kill the entire unit, then the attacking unit can select another target to assault. So when you killed the tank and the occupants disembarked, they are a different unit so you are allowed to charge them. Another rule in your favor there dave

The Tervigon psychic power called Onslaught allows a unit to run and shoot in the same shooting phase.
