Quick tips for the cheap war gammer

If you have one of the older pots holding you paints (the ones with a black lid, the one before the current one) you may of had a problem where the paint will become thick and not really usable, you can restore your paint by pouring a small amount of Windex in to the paint pot and mixing it around with a tooth pick, this should restore your paint. If your paint is 100% dried out and you want to clean out the pot, you can pour rubbing alcohol in to the pot this will loosen the dried paint, you then can use a paper towel to get rid of the paint. side note rubbing alcohol can also be used to strip paint, all you need to do is soak it for about 5 minutes then use a tooth brush on it under some running water.

@PowerRang3r: If it's not too far gone (still at least recognizable as paint, and not just colored clay in a pot), a little water works fine. I have a friend who mixes in some retarder when his pots are starting to thicken, and that makes it last a little longer. It does make the paint dry slower on the model(durr, kind of the point of retarder...), so if you want to speed paint with it, you may be SOL.

Are there more natural ways for restoring thick, old paint because I normally lick my brush but that might be poisonous anyways haha? so leave a comment on my channel if you know any!

Nice! I'll have to give that a try.
