I know I'm pretty late, but what would be the old games workshop equivalent of desert yellow army painter?
The-Doctor22 (Over a year ago): - delete
Hey Great Vid! - is there any way you could use this method on vehicles?
Ironbullet (Over a year ago): - delete
I've been using the Army Painter color primer Greenskin for my Salamanders...But they are far too dark. This is exactly what I needed to see. However, how do you 'dust' on the primer like you said. Just curious.

Why not just bend the metal pin under the bottom of the base? Keeps things in place without needing to glue.

@AmigoGrande: Have u tried trade me?

Thank you for this. I've tried it and it works great! The thing I did different was instead of the spray on yellow (which I didn't have), I brushed on GW yellow (not the foundation paint). It came out very blotchy and uneven which worked out fine. After applying two or three coats of wash (was going for a darker green) , the armor had an aged , worn , dirty/gritty look to it. Looked awesome! Reveived compliments from other gamers how good it looks so I'm doing my whole army liket this. Although I haven't figured how to apply it to vehicles yet ....

DO you do warhammer fantasy painting, not the 40k? if so, could you do one of the paint jobs from "Games Workshop's Black Orc Gallery"?
