@BadAdj: Yeah, I find the production line method does work on a bulk of models at once. Its really a matter of how many you can stand doing. I started with 5 then 10 then 25. Normally I wouldn't do this many, or suggest it, but I just wanted to get them done. So Now I have just have power threw it.

Think you may have mentioned this before but I find it easier if I use the production line technique on say ten models at a time.
Very monotonous though, but it does help when maintaining a fixed level of painting standard ( as it were )

I know that feeling well, having them painted does make it so much easier for counting purposes when you're removing them after they've just been subjected to mass carnage dished out from an over zealous terminator squad.

@BadAdj: For the horde I am trying desperately to just get through them with a table top standard. However I do have to stop myself sometimes because I do start to spend a bit of time on each individual one trying to make them perfect, which draws it out. But what it comes down to mainly is I can't stand playing with unpainted boyz!

I would imagine that'll take quite some time, judging by the size of your horde, will you be painting to tabletop standard? on the horde that is.
My problem with large numbers of models to paint is once i get started i constantly keep tweaking the paint job until I'm happy and then I find I've taken far too long on just two or three models and twenty odd more left to do.

@BadAdj: Actually that was what I was going to work on next after I finish my horde of Boyz. Currently I have 6 kanz, one deff dread and even a stompa left to assemble! so I could almost do a whole walker series!

Think I've probably mentioned before 'Marstons Pedigree' if you can get it over there is a rather nice tipple. Or Guinness a beautiful jet black stout not gassy very smooth, one leads very quickly to another.
