I like what you did with the cloak with the white-ish colour around the edge. To me the white looks great, but it looks like you got some on the black armor around it. You should try touching up the black around the white to make it look a bit more crisp.

@Draigo: Uhm, where does the white look thick. Honestly the white is the best part on this guy as a whole. 7 thin coats after two codex greys.

Thanks for the quick response Lord_Immortal, I think I will stick with the BT robed bodies and have a go at making some hoods out of putty. Thanks again!

@BrassFox: Thanks, I've tried OSL but it isn't exactly my favorite. But i suppose practice makes perfect.

@TheTemplar I think the hoods would do just fine. A guy on dakkadakka did that with his grey knights and they look fantastic. But i will tell you that the robed bodies pretty much all have dark angels emblems and such on them. So its kinda hard to get around that. Thanks for the comment.

Oh and I have a question, I really like the Dark Angel bodies and I'm wondering whether you think the cloaks (well the hoods mainly) would suit a squad of converted sword-brethren Black Templars (pretty much BT honour guard). Or would it be easy enough to just make hoods out of green stuff (I already have the putty and BT upgrade set) OR should I ditch the idea altogether? I would much appreciate your opinion!

I like whats happening so far, but just in case you're not doing this already, I would definitely suggest giving a few more highlights to your cloak, it would make the model really pop. I would suggest a kammando khaki highlight followed by bleached bone.

Looks pretty awesome. Glowing eyes on these guys would look amazing. Cant wait to see em finished.
