Good you have it on masonite, I don't use citadel paints to paint terrain, I use craft smart its like $1 for 2 oz when citadel paints are $4 for .5 oz. Also I suggest using ripped up foam to add the rust,

maybe next ime water down your paint so it can go on with so many dips of paint. if you get what im saying
