Okay! I'm back from Hawaii, and I have a new showcase of some conversions that I have put together.


First up, we have a custom Baal predator. I don't play blood angels, but I thought it would be a nice piece to create. I also used a razorback-looking turret to give it a cool, custom look.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BUY FOR THIS CONVERSION:
1x Land Raider Crusader/Redeemer kit
1x Space Marine Predator kit

Okay. So first off, I built both models. A land raider redeemer, and a predator.
Then, I took the twin-linked assault cannon turret, and filed down the base of it so that it would fit snugly in the turret compartment of the predator.

I need to warn you that this takes a while, and you can use a utility knife or other methods to cut this down to size. I just happened to have files on hand at the time.

After it is cut down to the correct size, it should fit like a glove. Replace it on the top of the Predator, and it should look like this:


And there you have it! A custom Baal predator for your new blood angels army. This conversion also works with razorbacks quite nicely.


Now we are on to the second one.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1x Games Workshop plastic Trygon/Mawloc Kit
1x Tactical Space Marine
Some random bitz

Did you notice that this trygon has a fourth set of scything talons, and is holding something in it's tail.
(Yes, I know they are only supposed to have 6 limbs, but these are "Over-The-Top" conversions, right?)
Also, he is eating a space marine!

I removed the tongue and spaced the jaws out a bit so it would fit, but the final effect really portrayed the savagery of the 'nids. I mean, downing a battle brother in one gulp is no easy feet.

And I want to apologize...I originally primed the Trygon in white, however, that cracked and did not work, so I had to go over it with chaos black primer. This gave it a warn-out effect that some would like, for it's quite a battle-hardened model.
