Correct me if I am wrong I thought blast can wound models out of line of sight it just has to be able to see the target to fire at it.

Yeah you can't roll saves, fail, then look out sir. It doesn't make sense if you think about it.

You have to decide before you roll any saves for the wound if you want to look out sir or not.

You need to make the Look Out Sir roll for Mad Doc BEFORE you roll armour saves and Feel No Pain.
