The reason there are two HQ choices for the allied detachment is because they are space wolves, and can take 2 for every 1 slot in the force org chart, ie. 4 max if they are alone, or 2 for an allied force. Hit the books, son.

Drop pods still scatter onto difficult terrain (and take dangerous terrain tests if they do so), their guidance system only stops them from scattering onto impassible terrain and other models.

@RIGNAROCK-CHAOS: Ramshackle rule in Ork codex replaces the normal effects of explodes and wrecked. When a trukk explodes from Ramshackle, orks inside take S3 hits. Says it specifically.

General-Cross is right. The Executioner cannon does not get hot. only the plasma cannons do if you even bother upgrading to them.

Hey dan, so far great bat rep, gotta love the wolves and thats why i have to comment. The drop pod I dont believe can shoot the turn it arrives. if im wrong please say so cause I have people calling me out for doing it so in turn i dont do it.

Drop pods are bs 4 so normaly it would of hit but on the turn they come in they count as moving cruisng speed so the storm bolter fires shapshots instead. Drop pods got a tiny buff from 5th cause in 5th you couldnt fire the turn you come in. Now atleast you get to snapshot.

If I am correct an allied detachment ca only take 1 HQ but he took 2 which ment that it was double force org for the entire army. He only had 1 HQ for ig and 2 troops
And only one troop for the wolves
Meaning a very illegal list

Oh and Drop Pod's are BS4, so there was a small chance it could have caused an additional glance on the Trukk, and a minuscule chance it could have crunched that Trukk in tandem with the squad.

@WaldiSP: All Ork vehicles are Open Topped, thus the passengers may disembark and assault in the same turn.

@Various others: Don't be a rule whore if you can't be bothered to actually get the rules-checking correct. Trukks DO NOT have 2 HP, they have 3, check the BRB for that. They also inflict S3 hits on passengers on board, understandably so because Phil Kelly didn't want the paper transports to eat their passengers alive when they exploded, as Orks have to bank on a 6 when their card-board boxes cave in on them.

As for Gets Hot! Plasma Cannon sponsons now have to roll for them, but the Executioner main-gun still doesn't. Now, why you would ever wan't to pay 40pts for two plasma blasts when you are already paying 40pts extra to upgrade from a Battlecannon to 3-small blasts from the Executioner, is simply beyond me.

Funny thing, Guard didn't bring HWS to counter Ork transports with ACs, and Orks didn't bring Lootas to counter Chimeras, was it deemed ungentlemanly to spam S7 AP4 shots at vehicles this game?
