i do believe that only scoring units may control objectives, and therefor they are the only ones that gain the benefit from that objectives special rule

@General-Cross: The 2nd page of the CSM FAQ says that models with wings are jump unit type. The Chaos Daemons MCs with wings become Flying MCs, allot of people have made this mistake.

@General-Cross: Which is why it's important to put down terrain in good spots. You're still 12" from middle, so if they keep back on their table edge you get to use the cover you placed. Also try and place objectives to pull them from their edge. In addition, it makes outflanking, infiltrating and scout moves more interesting and makes long range firepower better than it was in 5th, which was never really taken advantage of.

I thought the Daemon Prince was FAQed as a Flying MC?

As a side note I don't like this deployment type, it makes it almost impossible for assault armies to get close, especially when combined with things like Overwatch and lower cover saves.

Punished one is correct dangerous terrain now allows armor saves.

You cannot swoop with a CSM Daemon Prince, the FAQ says "models equipped with wings are jump[unit type], this is very different to the Chaos Daemons FAQ that says monstrous creatures equipped with wings are flying MCs.
