Just an FYI, When you shoot with a dreadnaught (or any walker), the model must turn to shoot. Makes a difference because your lootas could have gotten some nice rear armor action there.

Should have not fired the burnas, then charged them in too! Against units like Death Company, weight of numbers are the way forward... If you feed units in one at a time the Death Company can chew you up at their leisure!

@EldarExodite: That is a common mistake. They don't have to move an inch away, but they also don't count as being locked in combat, nor does the vehicle! If they moved an inch away how would they auto hit an immobilised vehicle during the defenders turn???

@EldarExodite: they dont move out of combat, however they are not locked with the vehicle (the vehicle can move away if able), if the vehicle did not(or could not) move away then in the following assault phase they can attack it again auto hitting

@chobarba: Units that assault vehicles are not stuck in combat with them, they have to move an inch away after the initial assault. If the DC assaulted a walker and failed to kill it, it would remain in combat with the DC.

None of this even matters, 6th Edition is going to be here in 28 days.

Dave, at 4:20 you shot the burna boyz's flamers into combat (the death company squad that was in base contact with the battle wagon). Since they were still in combat, they can't be shot at. BTW great battle report!

Dave, look at the Deffrolla entry on pg 55. It does not specify that there is an AP value, therefore it is just a normal S10 hit. It's not AP - because it's not a shooting attack.
